I can't say much about the 64 because I've only played two games on it.
It's a great console. You should consider picking one up.

I'm a bit torn between my favorite and which I think is the best.I'm not sure I have a favourite partly because I don't love my personal libraries for any as they are kinda small. I think the best is the snes or the nes. The snes has the killer library but the nes has a lot of amazing games too. I also think 64 is by far the worst mainly because of design issues with the controller a small though impressive library (up the top end). It's still a good system though and with q better controller I'm sure I'd love it more as I love the carts. Definitely the most well made carts ever. I actually prefer the cube but I have a decent library for that 1 but only 4 64 games

in my humble opinon it would have to be the western equivelent to the ique system, the nintendo 64! i grew up with both this console and the ps1 and i loved this console more than anything at the time, i spent countless hours playing amazing games such as mario party, goldeneye, yoshi's story, mario kart, mischief makers, rampage world tour, the list just goes on i loved the carts and the console design was very sleek. strangley enough being 7 or 8 the controller seemed do damn awesome it looked like something out of star wars which was also awesome!

Nintendo 64 as I was born in 1990 and never played the NES/SNES. I still haven't to this day, unless you count virtual console games.

This was a really hard one, but I had to choose N64 because I am a very social gamer and I would always play Mario Kart/Mario Party with friends on the N64.

I voted for the N64 because, well it has a great library of games and an awesome controller.

For me its a difficult choice to make.

I got the SNES for my birthday in 1992. A day that will go on in my memories until my brain signals shut down. I played Super Mario World, Joe and Mac, and Super Castlevania IV all night long. I get very nostalgic over the SNES. . . but the list of fantastic games for the system rivals any console ever released.

Killer Instinct, Chrono Trigger, Space Megaforce, Actraiser, Earthbound, Star Fox, Super Metroid, Gradius III, Super Double Dragon, Super Ghouls and Ghosts. . . . . the list of classic games goes on. . . and on. . . . and on.

For me it was a toss up between SNES and N64, as I grew up with both consoles. But I decided to go with SNES.

Interesting the N64 is leading the way here. But it is also interesting that many of us are noting our favorite to be the one we had first or grew up with. I see a spike in N64 prices as some of you age. I had a N64 late in high school but that thing gives me sea sickness today.

I'm an older guy and during that great war now referred to as the 16-bit console war I served with a company of heroes who loved their Genesis. I could never get into the SNES. Yeah I got one when Funcoland still sold them used in the 90s and I've got a few games for it but I really prefer the NES counterparts. I love SMW, but I'd pick SMB 3 or 2. Love Super Castlevania, but I'd pick 1-3 on the NES. Love Contra III, but I'd pick Contra or Super C... and so fourth. I dislike RPGs so that probably another reason why I can't get into the SNES.

There was a time right before the Genesis came out, maybe some of you older guys will remember this, when the NES was IT. No 16-bit war yet and all was peaceful and we all loved our NES. :)

I voted for the N64 mainly because it was my first console and I have great memories of both multiplayer (goldeneye, super smash bros, mario kart) and single player (legend of zelda: OoT, super mario 64, Harvest Moon, etc.) games, although it was a close decision between the N64 and SNES.

Hands down the Nintendo Entertainment System, I have such fond memories of getting it when I was a kid on Christmas of 89'. I guess that's why it's my favorite system to play and collect for, nostalgia rules!

Gamecube was so awesome! I feel like wii is just a gamecube with small upgrades but since its competing with HD consoles i feel like it is/was a big let down for me so in my eyes, Gamecube > Wii.

I know I'm in the minority, but I actually think the GameCube is a pretty kick ass console. The graphics are pretty damn good (certainly better than the PS2) and the load times on those mini-DVDs is incredible. Plus I like the exclusives. And that controller feels really comfortable in my hands. There just should have been more support for it!

I'm gonna have to say the SNES for me, strictly because of my childhood memories. So many good times.
