Ratchet and Clank Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time Left out Deadlocked because, well, that was an abomination of what could have been. Left out Quest for Booty because I consider it more of a DLC chapter than a game. |

1. Klonoa 2 (I just bought it today, and the series already has its own little niche in my heart.) 2. Jak and Daxter (Enjoyed the first game moreso than the second two. If I want guns in a platformer I'll play R & C.) 3. Ratchet and Clank (I loved the variety in gameplay and level designs. My memory card pooped out on my first runthrough, about half an hour from the end, and I started a new file, willing to replay it.) 4. Little Big Planet (Customization is just plain awesome. Outstanding musical score.) 5. Mario 64 (I just loved how much there was to each level. Awesome controls and structure for being the first 3D mario.) |

Here's my top 5 in no order: Tomba Super Mario 64 Klonoa Super Castlevania IV Donkey Kong Country Really surprised no one mentioned Tomba, it's an awesome game. Has a lot of nostalgia for me Also beat Castlevania IV 3 months ago and found it to be simply amazing.

In no specific order: Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario World Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sonic CD Donkey Kong Country 2 ... yeah I know, not much variety, but oldschool Sonic and Mario are some of my favorite, most-replayed platformers. I do like other platformers, though; in fact, the DS has many good ones: New Super Mario Bros., Giana Sisters, Super Princess Peach (despite its name is not girly). Also love the Donkey Kong Country series on the SNES, but I chose the ones I replay the most (those specific Sonic & Mario games). |
