There are threads regarding the first console you owned, along others but I've never seen a first game ever thread. If you have a good story to share with us, I'd be delighted to hear it. So I might as well have my go first.. My first game was Life Force on the Turbo GRAFX back when I was too young to remember. I didn't identify the game or console up until recently, in which I heard the familiar catchy songs, creepy bosses and the horizontal / vertical levels. My three cousins out of the country owned the console, and I played it during own summer during the 90's. The most recent I've visited them, they didn't anything besides the PS2 so I was kind of disappointed. |

That would be Super Mario World for the SNES. Some of my best memories are playing that game. It was very hard for me, though lol. It took me forever to beat it. Well, I was only like 9 or something. |

I can't remember the first game I ever PLAYED. But the first one I truly owned was Kirby's Adventure. My other NES games were my dad's. |

My mom bought my dad the Namco classics collection or something for PC whenever I was extremely young, so I sort of grew up on Galaxian, Galaga, Pacman, and Dig Dug.  Although this may have been AFTER we got our N64, I can't quite remember.

I think that game is Pitfall. My first game ever was Super Mario Bros. I couldn't beat it at the time because I was only 3. |

My first game i played at a friends house was The Legend of Zelda for the NES. I first played this game and from that moment on knew i would be a gamer for life. |
