In my opinion, the Logitech wireless controller for the original Xbox is the greatest controller ever made. Pic:

It's more comfortable to use than even the Xbox 360 controllers.

So what are your thoughts?

The good old NES controller. It's comfortable and extremely basic.

Either the official Xbox 360 or the Duelshock controllers

The Gamecube had an awesome controller too though, especially the Wavebird! :)

Dualshock 2 and 3 are probably my favorites, mainly because i have had them in my hands for the past 10 years or so of my life

the xbox 360 controller is very comfortable as well (and a huge improvement from the original xbox controller which i hated)

I think the 360 controller is really well made and extremely comfortable to use, so that's probably my favorite. Runner up is probably the PS2 controller.

Official 360 controller i used to think the PS2 one, but with the 360 i like how one analog stick is higher than the other.. Much more comfortable and easier to use in my opinion.

I found the N64 controller easy and comfortable to hold and use. The Genesis controller is also very comfortable thanks to its nicely rounded shape. I'm not a huge fan of the rectangle controllers like the NES or Master System.

Hands down the gamecube! B-)
It just like sits in your hand without problem.
360 is good but the only bad thing is that gap between the battery compartment and where you hold it; I hate how your fingers sorta get stuck.

Might be alone in that one though lol!

I think the Xbox S controller is very nice but I hate the big fat one.The GC's is good but I think it's a little too loud, and I don't like it for FPS's.

I'm just going to go with the wireless X-Box 360 remotes. Really comfortable for me to use.

Official Xbox 360 and Gamecube. I thought it would be Dualshock 2/ 3 but I thought about it the fact that if I push both sticks inward (toward the centre) my fingers touch. I just found that annoying.

The buttons on the 360 are extremely well placed and it is durable. The Gamecube controller just feels amazing.

I always disliked the the fact that the Super NES controller (and the Playstation and other controllers that mimicked the SNES pad design) had four buttons which I couldn't off hand remember which was which.

This got even worse with the Playstation using silly symbols to mark the buttons. I've owned a Playstation system since 1997 and I still don't remember which of those silly glyphs represents which button without looking.

It doesn't help that my first systems, the Game Gear, Game Boy, and Nintendo 64 all had controllers where there was basically no way you could mix up the buttons as long as you know where A and B where.

Dude, I'm not sure what's up with you, but personally I found the PS symbols much easier to memorise than controllers that used letters to label buttons. For over 10 years I've known that X is south, square is west, triangle is north and O is east.

Well, i started off with an old SEGA megadrive controller and the SNES also

Then the playstation after that

And then onto Xbox 360 when it came out

From my experience, i kind of just adapted to each one. For example, changing from ps2 controller to 360 was very weird at first. The xbox has a much larger controller but it has the triggers which make it my favourite. Shooters really do stand out on the xbox because of the triggers and a bigger controller in my opinion means you have more control. B-) :D

I havn't touched a PS controller in like 4 or 5 years and I still remember that.
