I don't associate glyphs with points on a compass as I play video games.

Mr. iOS

I think it's the Xbox controllers. Atleast for me, because I like heavy controllers, it gives more comfort, and it's shape helps too. Sony controllers are so light it feels like there's nothing there, except the PS1 controller.

on the top:
Dreamcast (anyone agree?)
Dualshock
and the basic NES
I Totally have to disagree on the dreamcast controller.

IMO it is the worst controller ever.
Reasons why...
1. There is only 1 analogue stick
2. there are only 7 buttons(inc the start button and triggers)
3. the wire comes out of the wrong side(Laziness on sega's behalf)
4. em...emmmm...cant think of another.

It's memory cards on the other hand just rock.

As much as i hate sony the ps1 and 2 controllers are the best.
Despite being a rip off of the snes controller.

My favories are the Nintendo 64 controllers. And the wired 360 controllers. I hate that battery pack in the middle. To me its uncomfortable. I wouldnt mind it so much if you could charge the battery like the ps3 controller. And i know there are play and charge kits out there, but why not have it built in to begin with. Or maybe im just picky. idk

GameCube hands down, you just can't beat it. I was also looking through an old drawer earlier and found an old PS1 controller with no analog sticks and I thought it was quite funny, I couldnt remember the last time i held one of those. I also like the N64 controller, the only controller to work with 1 analog stick and still be good for shooters, I was a HUGE Nintendo fan until the Wii, kinda let me down.

Best retro controller is the Sega Genesis six button for me.

The best more modern controller is the Gamecube one except I really hate its D-pad.

The old school Super NES controller for sure.

The logitech wireless controller for the PS2 was good too :D.

But my favorite is the PS2 dual shock. Fits into my hands like it was created just for me.

Second place goes to the "dog bone" NES controller. Takes a good idea and makes it not stab holes in your hand lol.

Third places goes to the Sega 6 button genesis controller.
