What game holds a special place inside you that you remember as a great childhood experience?

For me, Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis. Although it was my first ever game, I remember it for introducing me to gaming and I sill play it to this very day.

Harvest Moon for the snes, when I first found this quirky game where the gameplay style was of which I never played before (taking care of a farm seriously? Yet so addictive) I couldn't pry myself away from playing it.
Also Earthbound brings a lot of found childhood memories.
FF7 as well brings a lot of memories, it was such a satisfying game to play and one that completely encompassed me into the characters and story.

Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye 007, and Super Mario 64.

The N64 was my first system that I, myself, actually owned. These games were amazing and I always played them. Every time I see the cover of these games, I have so many good memories brought back to me.

Oh geez. Probably Banjo Tooie, Paper Mario, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Those games made me a hardcore gamer and everytime I think about them it puts a smile on m face. And that's my definition of nostalgia.

The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past and Donkey Kong Country always hold a special place in my heart the first games I ever beaten plus they were awesome games! Not to mention I re-bought the Super NES a couple of years back because I wanted to enjoy them again.

Super Mario bros (NES)-the first game i ever played i think.

Legend Of Zelda (NES) this was my favorite game as a kid

Castlevania II (NES) Again at a friends house we beat this hundreds of times, I loved it even though a lot of people dont

River City Ransom (NES) A friend would come over and we would play this for an entire summer. i loved throwing pipes and chains at the opposing gang members or even better throwing their own members at them

Legend of Zelda: OoT grabbed me into gaming forever. I had been playing the NES and Genesis until then, but Zelda trapped me haha. Also Pokemon Red, maybe my favorite game ever?

Kingdom Hearts. It's what got me into gaming today. I never would have been here on this forum if it wasn't for Kingdom Hearts giving me a fond love for gaming in general.
