I apologize if this topic was already made, I searched back a bit and couldn't find any topic if there was. Since I've started to realize that I was spending a lot of time playing games I started to incorporate reading more. So what was the last book you guys/gals finished up? What is the current novel you are reading. Sorry comics don't count! ![]() For myself last book I finished up was "I hope they serve beer in hell" By Tucker Max. If no one is familiar with this book I would recommend doing a google search, it's a hilarious book that completely monopolizes on the most douchiest skeezy stories from a complete a-hole and his womanizing drunken ways. There are things to learn from these stories though. Currently I'm reading "Wicked" by Gregory Maguire and "The time Machine" by H.G. Wells. Wicked is just purely awesome, and well the Time machine is a little over a hundred pages, but the first few chapters are a total snooze fest, I heard that it's worth the read though. |

I haven't read in a while.Trying to get the last bit of my work done so I can graduate. But I have a bookmark in the middle of "Resident Evil:City of the Dead" by S.D. Perry. I would love to reread "The Bromeliad Trilogy:Truckers,Diggers, and Wings" by Terry Pratchett.I remember really enjoying that book a long time ago. |

Also, the last book I read was "Prince Caspian". As you can see, I'm trying to read through the Chronicles of Narnia before I get into another series. |

Death Dealer: The Memoirs of the SS Kommandant at Auschwitz. The most disturbing book I've ever read, as you can probably guess but it does teach me some good lessons and a very enjoyable read. Not for everyone though. All the books I read are non fiction, BTW. I don't see much point anymore in reading fiction. |

There seems to be a duplicate thread of this one. When'd the search engine get improved? Dont remember it being that good. Im currently reading H.P lovecrafts "Necronomicon", the best wierd tales of... REALLY enjoying it. If you love horror in the most fantastically written sense, then this is the book for you. You may have some experience with a few of his stories without realising wether its books, games, song titles or movies. I have known of him for a very long time but never got round to reading any until quite recently. Here's a little excerpt that just made my day at work yesterday: "Shrieking, slithering, torrential shadows of red viscious madness chasing one another through endless, ensanguined corridors of purple fulgurous sky...phantasms and kaleidoscopic mutations of a goulish remembered scene." Fantastic stuff! |

Nice pickup there! I like clive barker, read cabal last year and have had the books of blood 1-6 for a while. I have watched his films since like 89 onwards, but his books brings you something a movie just cant. Cabal was just amazing compared to the film. Still need to read the hellbound heart, dont know why i havent already. |
