Such a burn lol I don't think I've really obtained anything extremely rare in the past couple years. One of the more expensive games I've gotten since then is Tomba! for the PS1 which I played a ton back in the day. |

I don't know if this is necessarily super rare, but I have Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga for PC complete in box. It had a somewhat limited print run, and it was sought after by fans because it was the only way to play the first three Wing Commander games natively in Windows before DosBox was a thing. Demand for it has gone down since then (and frankly, the port of WC2 was a little shoddy), but it's still kinda cool because it had completely re-orchestrated music and new sound effects that really added a lot to the experience. No other versions of the games have that, AFAIK. I suppose DosBox made it obsolete, but it's still a nice collector's item. |

Not even really rare I didn't think (no pun intended), but after using dinkydanas site, I was a bit suprised how much it would be to get a copy of conkers bad fur day nowadays, I have one with the manual only, but was looking on ebay and could sell it for like 60 if I wanted, but I love that game, so hell no, lol, but I didn't think it cost more then super mario rpg would have. |

Baten Kaitos Origins (GameCube, Sealed) Dawn of Mana w/ Soundtrack CD (PS2) Dual Hearts (PS2) Fatal Frame (Xbox) Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Director's Cut (Xbox) Rule of Rose (PS2) Shadow Hearts: From the New World (PS2) Shining Tears (PS2) Steambot Chronicles (PS2) Suikoden V (PS2) Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll (PS3) Wild Arms: Alter Code F (PS2) According to VGchartz, all these games have sold less than 90k copies in North America. Strangely enough, there is a game on your shelf that is more rare than the one you are holding in your hand. Baten Kaitos Origins is rarer by about 90,000 copies according to VGChartz. It came out right at the end of the GameCubes life. |

The game itself isn't that rare but it's signed by Peter Molyneux, I honestly don't think it's very valuable either but in terms of how many he actually signed it's probably the rarest I own.

Really interesting info as I have Baten Kaitos Origins, Dawn of Mana, Shadow Hearts: From the New World, and Suikoden V. But I never thought any of them were more 'Rare' than my copy of Suikoden II and I'm almost positive none of them cost as much $$$ to buy. Kinda weird. |

Just because something is rare does not mean that the price has to be high. I'm just going off of the cold hard facts here, Suikoden II is more common than all of those games. Look it up on VGChartz if you don't believe me.. |

Oh I believe you bud I just mean it's a weird phenomenon. I guess what I mean is Suikoden II must cost more because it's rare to an extent but also there must be a higher demand for it than the other games in that list that sold less copies. I didn't pay more than $30 for any if the others but Suikoden II is at least $140 right now so Demand is playing a huge factor in perception of rarity. Hope what I'm saying makes sense but I totally wasn't doubting your info. |
