I've been really getting into fighters lately and it's becoming one of my favourite genre's, but I don't know which to buy. Remember this is for PS3 only, I was thinking maybe Street Fighter 4 and Tekken 6, anything else I should take a look at?

O yeah, I forgot about BlazBlue, I'll keep my eye on it and maybe wait for a price drop on it, thanks for reminding me. I also plan on re-buying SC4, I have it on the 360 but I am going to sell it and buy the PS3 version.

For a 2D ps3 fighter, I'd recommend Blazblue.
For a 3D PS3 fighter, I'd recommend Soul caliber 4. Virtua fighter is supposed to be good, but the 360 version has an exclusive online mode(remake).
EDIT: Oh, and Blazblue recently got a 10 dollar price drop(at least at gamestop). It's $50 now.

Has anyone played King of Fighters 12? I came accross that a few minutes ago. I've never played a King of Fighters game before, if anyone has played it can you give me your opinions on it? Or even if you haven't played it give me your thoughts if you want to.

Havn't played king of fighters. I guess you could try it out if you like the series, but critics have been giving it pretty mediocre reviews. I wouldn't go for it.

Strip the Flesh, salt the wound!

From what I've heard, Marvel vs Capcom 2 is Amazing. But, If I had to choose only one, I'd probably go with Tekken 6.

Is Tekken 6 a slower fighter? I heard it wasn't like Street Fighter fast, it wouldn't bother me but it's be nice to know if I was to buy it so I know what to expect.

Stay far away from King of Fighters 12, usually this franchise is a great classic, but the rehash..I guess you can call it that, that recently came out with a whopping $69 price tag over here in Canada is for sure not worth the money!

Graphics look nice on a surface level but they get rather pixelated and distorted..which shouldn't occur if it's suppose to be a revamped version. The resolution when it's being zoomed in tends to drop, looks odd.

You can experience some odd slow down in the moves.

Very few modes to pick from, it has a good fighting engine behind it, but it can become boring quick since there is not much else to do. Online is practically broken.
This game just felt limited honestly, it's more of a budget title, I would pick this up if it was 20 bucks, not the price it is now!

Stick with Blazblue and Soul Calibur, these are great fun fighters!

I like the KOF series but they really dropped the ball on this game. The worst thing about it is if your into online play the game had really bad slow down issues / frame skipping. its so bad the game is almost unplayable. There is supposed to be a patch to fix this but I am unsure if it has came out yet. I will get the game later on when its patched and after the price comes down because the KOF series is a great team VS game but its not worth the price ATM with buggy online play.
