I really need to get a phone, I get tired of having to rely on my girlfriend's phone when my job or a family member needs to get a hold of me.

You might have to go with a current carrier because of that. All i can say is don't use vonage and company's that use your internet. ATT phone service has been good for me all the years i had them but there internet is bad now so bad im switching in a week FYI there is no best phone/tv/internet company They all have there issues Edited by AGamer, Sep 24 2009, 05:19 PM.

Level 1 Posts: 30 Group: Members Member #1,275 Joined: Sep 24, 2009	Frankly i would get a cell phone and go with t-mobile there cheapest plan is Individual 300 300 Unlimited Weekends N/A $29.99 Frankly you need to personaly look because you need to type your zip code into there sites and they will tell you if they cover your area then you can say here the companys you can pick then that will help us know what you can use If you need tv/internet and phone you can get bundles and idk if its cheaper im sure its not but yea there about 100-130-200$ a month depending on plans / what service you go with Edited by AGamer, Sep 24 2009, 05:49 PM.

Halopwns Before Posts: 1,099 Group: Founding Members Member #77 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	i would say sprint or att sprint is what i have they have many stores around and they always help you and there phone selection is pretty good att is only worth it if you get an iphone because of all of it's features but if you don't get the iphone, att is not worth it at all

Level 1 Posts: 30 Group: Members Member #1,275 Joined: Sep 24, 2009	sprint aka nextel is doing bad and might go bankrupt it was said that nextel was loseing 4.4mill customers CBS,nextel aka sprint, sears,goodyear, i forgot the other names are doing very bad atm. If you want a cell phone go for andriod based google phones. Andriod is going to overtake the cellphone market by 2010-2011 Edited by AGamer, Sep 24 2009, 07:08 PM.

If you like the service your girlfriend gets maybe get that one or wait and get a family plan with both of you on it. family plans are always better and cheaper

ATT / t-mobile are the best phone services in my area. like i said you need to go to phone websites and type your zip code and see if they cover your area then you need to see if the phone service is good in your area. My friend from the states is on Sprint, he says they have good towers and reception, and good affordable plans and nice variety of phones. He use to be on ATT..or T-Mobile and he got out of his plan as soon as his service was up, they were giving him too many problems. I would ask your friends, good cellphone companies run on word of mouth, chances are if a majority of your friends are on a certain company is because they enjoy it.
