With all the talk flying around about the Swine Flu Vaccine possibly being made mandatory I was wondering what everyone's take on this issue is.

I for one will not be taking any kind of vaccine myself. And if it does escalate to the point of mandatory vaccines / quarantine / camps I would still choose the camp over a forced injection.

This video is the most shocking one I have saw yet due to the fact that its right off of Fox News and it clearly shows what most of the other videos going around on the net have been saying could be true as well.

When he said off topic, you REALLY went off topic, lol. But a good topic indeed.

I think it should be the citizens choice to put something in to their own body, even though it may help them.

I had swine flu. It's not that much different from the regular flu that we all know and love.

This is a huge over reaction!

That's ridiculous. About 10 times more people die from the normal flu than the swine flu, is that mandatory? I bet they would make you pay too. Police breaking down your door, injecting some kind of illness into you, and making you pay for it. :/

The whole swine flu issue is a little overblown and it's being fed by this constant fear of a global pandemic that some say could be another case like the plague. True, it's an aggressive flu bug and it can prove fatal to those who have compromised ammune systems, however ther have been worse epidemics; smallpox and SARS anyone?

Making the vaccine mandatory is not the best idea, since the vaccine itself can have dangerous side effects, and it should really be up to the individual just as the flu shot is. In previous generations, smallpox and polio vaccinations were mandatory, but I don't think swine flu is of that same magnitude. This will eventually blow over.

This vaccine showed up virtually overnight. Many drugs with years of research and testing put in to them have had severe and unexpected side effects that show up only after they've been distributed to thousands of people, and I'm supposed to trust my health to this new vaccine from day one?

Plus I've heard some parts of this vaccine's development or production is taking place in China. China can't even make baby formula without it being poisonous.

No vaccine should not be made mandatory by the government in any way.

And no I'm not one of those crazy anti vaccinationists that think they're mind control chips in the flu shots they give at the supermarket, I just believe in choice.

I think its really not that big deal. I saw something on tv like a month ago(I dont remember the exact numbers but youll get the idea) they said like 100 people have died from it in the US and 15,000 people die every year from the regular flu. agian those numbers are wrong but it was something like that

The great thing about the 360 isn't beating the games. It's showing everyone online that I did

Just came out of Winter here. Here in Australia, they have been offering free vaccinations for about 10 days. I'm not getting it because
1) It's dying down
2) I don't trust the vaccination
3) I am TERRIFIED of needles. My last injection was 4 years ago and even though I remember it didn't hurt, the idea of a needle entering my arm is CREEPY.

However, I freak out over EVERYTHING. So if I feel a bit off, I instantly think swine flu and think that I'm going to die.

Anyway, swine flu is dying down. I've had like 3 viruses ever since swine flu came into the public, so I've probably had it.

I had some Asian death flu last year, if I could survive that, I can survive swine flu.

I've had swine flu too. As said before, it's nothing drastic, I think the government are just worried that it'll mutate into something nasty
