7.5 Build Quality
Durable but the high-gloss finish is prone to smudging and showing dirt.

7.0 Features
The all-digital approach is a nice move toward greener technological pastures, but Sony may have been jumping the gun a little.

6.0 Value
With no UMD transfer capability and a $50 price jump, the PSPgo is a hard sell.

6.5 Comfort
The compact collapsible screen design makes the PSPgo ergonomically challenged.

7.2 OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

This does not make sense. It has nothing to do with the build quality, it's to do with the product design stage.

Just an observation...

I never agree with ign gear's reviews(love everthing else from ign though) really. This hasn't changed my opinions in the psp go at all.
Like they gave the dsi a 7.8 I believe.

I think it's a solid review that more or less confirms what most people thought of the system from the time it was announced. It's an interesting leap in terms of being the first all-digital handheld, however I can't see any existing PSP owners banging down the gates to get the PSPgo. I own over 30 PSP games and I wouldn't by any future model unless it supported UMD, or if there was a free (and legal) way to acquire digital copies.
