LEAST favorite YouTuber; be honest.

Mr. iOS Posts: 1,223 Group: Founding Members Member #223 Joined: Jan 31, 2009	This has to come up. We can create tons of "your favorite youtuber" threads and would end up getting the same answers. Now I want all of you to man up and post your least favorite gaming and general youtuber. When I say that, I mean post one gaming related YouTuber you hate, don't like or whatever reason and another non gaming youtuber. So be honest, and "I don't know" or "I don't really have a least favorite" is not an answer. My least favorite gaming related channel is probably tomothy81's. He's a great humble guy, nothing against him personally, he's smart and all that. But the thing is he has the potential to be a big YouTuber and be on the same level as Pete and HCG, my problem? He doesn't seem like he's putting that much effort in improving his channel. He thinks that the gaming community is the best community on YouTube in which I disagree and basically it seems that he's making videos because everybody does it too. My least favorite non gaming related channel is MRirian's or better known as Magibon. You know that chick that posts 30 second videos of her just staring at the camera or speaks japanese even though she's white? Her videos gets like millions of views and even got international recognition, for doing what? Nothing. I mean what about those YouTubers that actually does something to entertain people that only gets 200 views? It just makes me mad. So who's yours? And remember, this is a serious thread and requires you to give and in-depth reason 'why' you don't like their channels. Yeah, so step up.

He knows nothing about gaming, rants about PeteDorr...what else do I have to say? Least favorite youtuber: Fred. He talks in a super-annoying high pitched voice, yet he is number one most subscribed of all time. He makes tons of money selling those stupid shirts, and he didn't work for his audience AT ALL. Why are the most popular youtube videos stupid and immature attempts at being comical? What really bothers me is his uber popularity. In addition to knowing nothing about games, he just comes across as being an arrogant prick who thinks that adding the word "fuck" to every sentence makes him that much cooler. Additionally, his "in your face" style of filming is rage inducing - it makes me wish I could punch him in the face every time I see it.

I liked the guy until he decided to give a big ol' middle finger to his fans and was subsequently banned from Youtube. I'll check out this MNC122703 guy you're all talking about, just for laughs. Least favorite Youtuber overall: Either VenomFangX, Fred, or Supermac10. VenomFang is a complete douche who doesn't know what he's talking about (and I'm a creationist), Fred is just annoying and is most subscribed when Smosh still deserves it, and Supermac10 gets paid thousands of dollars a month... and for what? Making idiotic videos that make no sense.

True, a high number of subs doesn't always mean better videos (that's a matter of personal taste), but it at least means you are connecting with people. Why else would anyone do a Youtube channel...it's all about connecting with people. The more people enjoy your videos, the better and more confident you feel in making more. If and when I start my own channel, I hope that a good number of people will enjoy my vids. MNC122703 hates on Pete for having so many subs, but I think he is compensating for the fact that fewer people care to watch his videos. How he got 500 subs is beyong me; he's a jackass and he seems to attrack fellow jackasses, based on the idiotic comments he gets in his videos.

I do admit he was extremely ungrateful, but, with my choice I don't want to go on personality and more what the person uploads to the channel. I'd have to say anyone who rips off AVGN poorly, the "Game Dude" especially, among others.

He is a rip off of the Angry Video Game Nerd. Only difference is that James Rolfe (AVGN) puts out a new video every 2-3 weeks and they are good and Chris Bores (Irate Gamer A.K.A HACK ATTACK) puts a vid out every 4-5 MONTHS and they aren't funny. I've seen maybe 2 average - good jokes from Irate Gamer. Also, in the YouTube Poop community, I hate how the people with 15,000+ subs can put out garbage and get 5 star ratings while people with only 20 subs don't get given a chance. I bet anyone if I did youtube poop 2 years ago when it was just high pitched audio remixes and I did the youtube poops I do now back then, I bet I would be hailed as a "popular" youtube pooper, but because I started 2 years later, apparently my videos are meh. I'm not saying that in a "jealousy" way, but it's just so damn obvious. It's just a popularity contest.

The problem with the Irate Gamer is that his personality is not suited to AVGN-style videos. He tries too hard and his jokes misfire because they feel forced. If he was simply doing game reviews, collection videos, and vlogs, I think his videos would be much better. However, he has tons of subscribers who love his videos, so I'm probably in the minority on that one.
