I think it's pretty probable.
Have you seen this:

This was a leaked image that appeared in an old PSM. It's the one that had FFXIII on the cover:

It would be awesome! Day one purchase for me if it was true!

I'm kinda starting to change my mind on this one.
Naughty dog said that crash bandicoot was made witht the ps1 technology in mind. They said that Jak and Daxter was being made for a more powerful system, but not powerful enough for realistic graphics, so they gave the series with a more detailed cartoon engine. And then the PS3 came along with the satisfactory horsepower to create a realistic graphical engine, and that was how Uncharted was made.
An uncharted game on PSP would totally contradict this.
But I gotta admit, that screenshot does look impressive...

Well, God of War didn't disappoint right? I think that psp is capable of making a great looking game.

I'm not trying to say the psp can't handle it, I'm just saying that it would be a little underwhelming when compared to Uncharted 1 and 2 on PS3.

With God of War, CoO is comparable to the PS2 titles, so it seems impresive.

I'm weary of this, Uncharted is such a solid action packed game, I hope they would tweak it just enough and work with the controls of the PSP in mind, it would have to be VERY SOLID.
Camera angles do become key in uncharted..and if the shoulder buttons are being used as aim+trigger...what is going to be used as moving the direction of the aim? Face buttons?
If so, the face buttons would have to be a double up control scheme, like while you are pressing L1 the face buttons would control camera, I still this becoming sloppy however.

The PSP is definitely capable of pumping out a good game, lets just see if they can pull it off with a big league title like Uncharted that was specifically made with the PS3's power in mind.

If it's true, the controls and such will probably work like Syphon Filter.

Not quite Uncharted 2 for the PSP, but there does seem to be an Uncharted 2 theme for Pinball Heroes making its way to the PSP.

Sony appears to be converting top-notch PS3 titles into Pinball Heroes games for PSP

The ESRB has rated four: Pinball Heroes: Uncharted, Pinball Heroes: High Velocity Bowling, Pinball Heroes: Hot Shots Golf and Pinball Heroes: PAIN.
