I don't know much about this game yet but so far it looks nice. I'm still waiting for my Game Informer to come in the mail.

Wow so cool! A mickey game that isn't titled with Kingdom Hearts it hasn't got for ages! :) (nothing against KH, I'm a KH fan, but to be able to do levels with Mickey is cool)

I still have a soft spot for Castle of illusion, as it was my first MegaDrive game.

I have the Game Informer on Epic Mickey and I have read practically every word they wrote about it on the cover story. It's nice to see Mickey again, and hard-core at that. So you can choose to make Mickey do evil things if you so choose, that will be interesting. The much-forgotten Oswald the Rabbit finally gets some fame! I have high hopes for this game.

These aren't the droids we're looking for.

The second picture reminds me of this Mickey short I've had on VHS since I was a little kid, involving Mickey, Donald, and Goofey in a clock-tower. Can't remember the details of the short, but the picture definitely rings a bell (Get it? Rings a bell? Clock tower? C'mon....).

Anyways, the game definitely looks interesting. I always loved Mickey as a kid. Too bad he's a relic in this age of Hannah Montana and forgettable Disney films; exiled to appearing crappy CG films.

Got my GI also, read the article awhile back when I got the issue and really looks to be a fun Mickey platformer.....that I've been looking forward to for some time. Can't wait till it releases!.

These aren't the droids we're looking for.

Got my Holiday issue of Nintendo Power yesterday, and they had an "interview" with Warren Spector (Epic Mickey's project director) and after reading it, and looking at the screenshots and stuff, I am absolutely intrigued. The very concept of drawing upon 80 years of Disney material, from unused character designs to scrapped scenes and backgrounds, is just great. It's crazy that Disney is giving the developers such extensive access to their history and free reign to do with it as they feel for the game. And Oswald the Lucky Rabbit resenting Mickey for usurping the limelight? Crazy stuff.

All of these forgotten and neglected pieces of Disney history just makes for an incredible sounding game. Hopefully Epic Mickey stays in public consciousness until it's release in September of next year; I don't want it to be a sleeper. It just looks great.

Looks cool but I wish this was a PS3/360/PC release. I'm sure they're going to attempt to use the Wii's motion controls, but I rather see this excellent art style stretched to the max on a more powerful system.

The whole project was actually geared towards the 360 and PS3 (they had already done some work on it), I believe, but when they began discussing a Wii port they fell for the control scheme and converted the entire project over to be a Wii exclusive. Mickey's going to wield a paint brush and use paint thinner to change his environment (erase buildings, enemies, draw structures, platforms, etc.,...), so, really, the motion control and the paint brush goes hand-in-hand.

It's supposedly planned as a trilogy at the moment, so perhaps if the PS3 and 360's motion control devices work out, they'll get a port or access to the sequels? From the looks of it, it'd be a shame for any Disney fan to miss out on this game.
