i got a model 2 sega but with only model 1 whires( the big block looking thing that u plug into the wall forgot what its called lol i feel dumb) is it ok to play model 2 SG with model 1 chords? i dont know because i dont have any games yet. |

model 1 and model 2 genesis consoles take different power supplies. The plug on the model 1 AC adapter is bigger then the model 2 adapter. Edited by MeanBeanMacheen, Nov 2 2009, 12:25 AM.

no problem, luckly the genesis model 2 power adapters are dirt cheap and very easy to find. Just head to your local goodwill and keep an eye out, you should find one down the road for roughly 1.99. |

would any 1 have a link a can click on to see what the model 2 cables look like? to be honest, i have no clue. i didnt know it was the wrong cables until i got home. any help will be appreciated. |
