Okay, so i was looking at the Guitar Hero Wikipedia Page and they have a table of the releases and then i saw Guitar Hero: Guns n Roses and Guitar Hero: Santana which were both due to be released in 2010 (these have gone of the page for some reason) so me being a fan of Guns n Roses i looked around on the internet for more information and found this.

With Axl Rose now graciously participating in every aspect of the game, Activision and RedOctane figured the development costs to well exceed $20 million and have given the game an expected release date of June 2023.

What the hell!? We would have to wait 13 years for this!?

It's getting ridiculous with all of these Rock Band and Guitar Hero games, I mean comon, next we'll see a Guitar Hero: Splipknot and a Rock Band: Finger Eleven.

I'm not really a big fan of Guitar Hero or Rock Band. They're alright for game play and of course the soundtracks always are awesome, but to me enough is enough. It's the same game with a different soundtrack each time which is dull after the 2nd game in my opinion :/

Looks like this game won't be coming out. An article written in December 08 states that Axl Rose slammed Guitar Hero for using some songs in the game which were unauthorised. After this I don't think Axl will want to work on a Guitar Hero game.

It really bothers me that bands like Aerosmith, Van Halen, Green Day and possibly G n' R get a full game dedicated to them, but AC/DC only gets a skimpy Rock Band track pack. Don't get me wrong, I love the all of the bands I've just mentioned, but having a full AC/DC Guitar Hero or Rock Band game would be absolutely amazing. A Led Zeppelin game would also be good, but given Jimmy Page's disliking for these music games, I doubt we'll ever see that.

It doesn't bother me one bit with all the new music games.
There's a new madden, or nba or wwe game every year, doesn't it relate to the same thing?
