The great thing about the 360 isn't beating the games. It's showing everyone online that I did Posts: 467 Group: Members Member #1,055 Joined: Jul 29, 2009	Before the Summer Holidays and Christmas (Australian so this is in early December) we had an activities week for 8th and 9th graders. We could pick activities such as going to the zoo, hanging out in the library etc. Me and all my friends picked hanging out in classrooms playing board games, so 3 of us (including myself) brought in our GameCube's and got some of the TV's in the classrooms and hooked them up. We had massive Mario Kart and Smash Bros tournaments for about 3 days. The teacher supervising the people in the room got annoyed at me because I brought Resident Evil 4 and she was talking about how the game was innapropiate for us (even though we were all 15 and here the rating for it is 15 +). Anyways, it was a fun week. One of the better highlights of school for me. We also loaded up Sonic Adventure DX and did 2 player Game Gear Sonic games to see who could finish Sonic 1 first, we gave up at about the 2nd zone. I've finished it with all chaos emeralds before, we just got bored.

We got others who weren't doing the tournaments to run off and get us lunch. We also all had our gameboys and one of the guys had his DS which was new at the time (think it was only out here for about 10 months so the whole getting one for Christmas thing hadn't happened yet) I remember 8th graders paying us out about how we apparently do things to ourselves when we play Mario Kart, but hey, that was a very fun day. Especially watching people who were trying to play Mario Party suck at it. There was some ditzy English girl who thought she was playing Need For Speed (she picked up a gameboy advance which was connected through the GBA cord to the GameCube, but it wasn't turned on!) Beats watching DVD's in the library. P.S. Even though this was all about 4 years ago, if my mum found out that I brought my GameCube to school, she would KILL me.
