Let's see it was either laughing at a programming joke and actually getting it, or playing D&D for the last 6+ years. |

I just bought RPG Maker VX and have barely scratched the surface- can you give me any pointers as to what, in general, works and what doesn't? I've only put about 5 hours into my game total and I have no clue where I'm going with it. |

The nerdiest thing is nerdraging while playing MW2 and punching a hole in my wall. That was a week after I punched a first hole in the same wall and nearly the same spot from being killed multiple times in a row in PVP on RuneScape...... |

Unova, the new region from Pokémon black and white is a fictionalized version of the New York City Area, as pictured here.![]() Being having been born and raised in New York and a huge Pokémon nerd, I was extremely proud of this, even though I haven't actually lived there in many years. Unfortunately, my former home town in NYC, the peninsula to the south, wasn't actually included as part of the Pokémon Black and White game map, despite my former own town even having its own subway station and being a 10 minute subway ride from areas that are actually represented in the games. So I opened up Photoshop and painstakingly added my own home town to the map. The end result can be seen in my sig. And that's the nerdiest thing I've ever done. Aside that time I made my mom knit a hat of Ezlo from The Minish Cap and take a picture of me shaking hands with Miyamoto while wearing said hat. That was pretty nerdy too. |

Indeed indeed. I actually made a 20 minute YouTube video regarding real life parallels to the Unova region, the entire second half I talk about Jamaica Bay and the Rockaway Peninsula and what GameFreak missed out on by not putting them in the game. Unova & New York: The Real Connections |

Arverna City is derived from the community of Arverne thats roughly between Beach 60th and 70th streets if I remember correctly. Information about all the communities in the Jamaica Bay and Rockaway that i included in the map along with photos are over here, though the forum seems to be lagging at the moment due to increased traffic. if nothing else its an interesting look at the parts of the area you were too afraid to look at

I would come up with ideas for Magic the Gathering decks/combos during class when I was in 6th grade. I always had my Scrye magazine inside my folders, desk or wherever I could sneak it around. I also played Magic during recess at one point but stopped once my cards got all beat up. |

Only thing I could really think of is waiting outside for a video game on midnight release. I did it with Gears of War 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Modern Warfare 2. I'm going to do it for Gears of War 3, and I MIGHT purchase the 3DS and go to one of those releases. I'm not sure yet. I don't really consider that nerdy though because people on black friday camp out for the stupidest things. |

Well a friend and I started talking about games at Chili's once. When we parted I looked down and 14 hours had passed. For a junior-level expository writing class at university I wrote a 10-page paper on narrative structure in video games. My professor's gaming knowledge was limited to "Mario and Donkey Kong," but I got an A. Because I'm awesome. Starting a DnD group at university now. We're all huge DnD noobs, so we have no idea what we're doing. |
So says Mr. Stewart.

the nerdiest thing I've ever done would have to be when I made a list during school what i was going to buy on runescape when I got home in 6th grade, good times. man, i wish i could go back to the days when i was a kid maybe like 8 or 9 and me and my best friend went to the same babysitter and every day we sat in the basement watching yu-gi-oh and playing pokemon. so many memories. haha. |

For me, lets see, I remember getting my sisters old Ipod which I then gave to my brother because I have a PSP that I put my music on (I still use it WAY more for the games), and for my Ipod there was the option to name your Ipod on it, I called in "Ganon"!
