First off I want to say how close I was to not getting this game but by god i'm so happy I did.

Heavy Rain is one of the best, most innovative, thrilling games i've ever played. While my friend Greyslash and I were done with the game we reviewed it. It seemed that the only problems we found were very VERY small nit picking things.

So I've played many RPG's in my day and as most of you know RPG's generally attach you to the main characters. Heavy Rain absolutely beats any RPG in terms of attaching you to a character.

The story was amazing and kept me on my feat through out the game, I was always under high pressure situations were I knew the tiniest slip could change the story.

In terms of gameplay there isn't much at all walking isn't the greatest but the distance and time you spend walking is not much at all. The quick time events put you under much pressure where the slightest slip could cause you to loose a character.

Overall I was skeptical of this game at first but it has now one it's place as my favorite game of all time.(sorry Final Fantasy VII)

Sega Does What Nintendon't

I picked up a copy this weekend and I wasn't sure if I would like the game or not but because of the hype I thought I would try it out and see if it was any good and so far I am liking the game.

I only got to play the game for a little over a hour but so far its nothing like I expected. The story is the main draw and I cant wait to play it more to see whats going on. The way walking is handled is the only thing I don't like in the game but like Shaq Attack said its not a deal breaker.

These aren't the droids we're looking for.

I kind of ignored Heavy Rain after I first heard about it, because, frankly, I don't particularly like quick time events and that kind of stuff. But since everyone has been gushing over it since it was released, I'm intrigued. I'll probably give it a go when I get a PS3 in a few months.

I was at EB today and from reading all the reviews and word of mouth, I regret not buying it today. I will pick it up on tuesday when I pick up FF13.
Along with Yakuza 3. There are just so many games I need to beat and play right now. Though with a big header like FF13 it's going to be hard to punch in my time with all of these.

I can't pass up Heavy Rain though, I hear a PS3 owner must have this game, and I get a feeling this will be hard to find and expensive down the road.

Can't wait, I love to be kept on edge.

Be careful looking at any video related to Heavy Rain in the mean time. A lot of X box fanboys think it's funny to post who the killer is in the comments of any video related to the game.

Ugh, thanks for the heads up, I tend to not read any comments anymore on newly released games these days because there sure are a lot of e-pricks.

I was watching Bioshock 2 and someone decided to randomly post all that happened, oh boy did he get flagged, though as soon as I saw a blurb I quickly scrolled all the way up, and now I don't even remember what my eyes flashed across.

Really, what satisfaction do people get in being such spoilers, I wish I had the ability to pop out of their computer screen and punch them right on the face.

I made the mistake of reading the comments on Blunty3000's video review of the game and the ending has been spoiled for me. Gaming culture is wonderful at it's core, but some people take it too seriously and enjoy spoiling the fun for others.

I still bought the game and I look forward to playing it. With multiple endings, I can tell that this one is going to take up a lot of my time, but I need to get cracking on this before FF XIII comes out next week. After that, my time will be spoken for :)

On 22nd September a patch will be released that will Move-enable your existing copy of Heavy Rain. It'll automatically download to your PS3 when you boot up the game.

A friend of mine gave me his copy of this game and to be honest, I've never been so into a game since Shenmue II. Although I won't say it's innovative, because what's done in the game has been done before. If you take a closer look, it's basically just like the Shenmue series...
