(NOTE: If you don't care about guitar-related stuffs, feel free to skip my yammering and go straight for the pretty picture below) After listening to some Muse, I realized that I hadn't played my guitars in quite some time. So, what did I do? Stood next to my guitars for a few seconds, realized none of my pedals or amps were hooked up, then went back to my computer! To look at guitar stuffs online (the next best thing for a gear head such as myself). Whilst scrolling through fuzz/distortion/overdrive pedals, I found the most awesomest looking stompbox in everdom. I actually did a double-take when I saw it, because I just wasn't expecting it. ![]() Does this look familiar to anyone? xD Here's a picture for it from another angle. For those of you Guitar Hero and Rock Band junkies who don't know what an effects pedal/stompbox is (but can play Through the Fire and Flames on uber-insane-out-of-your-mother's-mind-difficulty), it's basically an expensive electronic doodad that sits on your floor and collects dust (I should know, I have 7 of 'em) when it's not changing the sound and tone of your guitar/bass/whatever, whether it be distorting it, multiplying it, or whatever. I've never even heard of the company that makes it; I haven't bought any guitars/pedals in almost two years, so they may be new, I don't know. I just thought that some of you might get a kick out of the paint job/sticker/whatever it is; like I said, it surprised me when I saw it. At almost $100, I don't think I'll be buying it anytime soon, but it is definitely neat looking. If I didn't have a bunch of stuff I'm wanting to buy over the next few months, I'd pick it up; I need a fuzz pedal. And, no, this isn't a one-off pedal some artistically-inclined video game nerd painted up; it's apparently been on the market for about a year. Yep. Edited by NostalgiaKing, Mar 4 2010, 10:36 PM.

After thinking about this pedal more, I recalled the perfect guitar to play whilst using it. Back in 2000 or 2001, Jackson Guitars produced a limited edition 7-string electric guitar inspired by Zora Link's guitar in Majora's Mask, which was given away as the grand prize in one of Nintendo Power's contests, called the "Zoraxe".![]() Here's a larger picture, though the resolution sucks. I don't know how good the guitar is, but it's probably better than one made up of fish bones
