Yesterday I sold my old 2gb iPod Nano to a friend and today I bought me a iPod Classic 160gb so obviously I have a lot more space for music... What are some MUST HAVE songs, albums, etc. I'll listen to anything but Country and Heavy Metal. It can be from the 60's or it can be from this year, it doesn't matter to me, I just want to have some good music to listen to whenever I have my iPod on. It can also be Soundtracks because honestly... I listen to those more than any kind of music sometimes. One of my favorites is from the anime movie Spirited Away.

Probably my favorite album ever is 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' by Arctic Monkeys. It's very accessible, fast, fun and paints a haunting tale of slums and prostitution. I've shown it many different people with various tastes in music and most people thoroughly enjoy it like i do. I really can't recommend it enough.

Been listening to more ambient music recently.

I recommend anything by Theivery Corporation, Aphex Twin, or Portishead.

Songs to relax to for the most part. Great overall.

Sega Does What Nintendon't

Gorillaz: Demon Days
Blending together piano, strings, choir, rap and electronic to make one of the best musical experiences in recent years. This CD will grow on you the more you listen and it never gets old.

Lady Gaga: The Fame & The Fame Monster
With 5 number one singles and Telephone on its way to becoming her 6th there is no denying that Lady Gaga is the hottest artist on the planet. I like to think of Lady Gaga's music as Techno Disco Super Pop but regardless of what genre you place her in both CD's are well worth checking out even if you are skeptical at first.

I agree with excalibunny on A Perfect Circle: Thirteenth Step For me this CD contains the very best Maynard James Keenan has to offer.

Daft Punk: Electronic / House

As you can tell I like a lot of different genre's of music and the best advise I can give you when seeking out new music is don't judge it until you have tried it because you might just surprise yourself.
