New User Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #1,710 Joined: Mar 15, 2010	So I've been listening to Plastic Beach for the past week and, given that I'm a huge fan of Gorillaz, figured I'd like to hear others peoples thoughts. I enjoy most of the album, but think it had its high points then kinda descended on other parts. Favorite Songs: Rhinestone Eyes, On Melancholy Hill, and Broken Even though I enjoy most of it, and think its great - I still think its gonna be hard for them to top Demon Dayz.

Personally, I've been a longtime fan of Damon Albarn's bands (Blur, Gorillaz, and The Good, The Bad and the Queen) and I have enjoyed both previous albums from Gorillaz, and I think that "Plastic Beach" is as good as either of the two previous efforts. Few of the songs are as catchy as "Feel Good Inc.", but it's quality music nonetheless. I definitely recommend it. yes i do like hard rock but the bands i named off are all metal bands sure metallica had a hard rock sound at one point but they are still a metal band....... and i listen to anything but gospel classical or opra so yeah i do have feel good inc but that's the only gorillaz song i own......i only got it cause i liked it back when it was popular back in 03 04

Level 6 Posts: 855 Group: Members Member #101 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	I've been meaning to get my hands on their new album, I'm sure I'll still greatly enjoy it, I've always like Gorillaz quite a bit, just the flow of their songs and the way they compose and fuse different elements together. Kids with Guns is probably one of my favourite songs by them.

Blur is my preference over these bands as they were so good in the 90's set along with Oasis. I am a fan of some of the Gorillaz songs such as Clint Eastward and sunshine but most of their songs just seem too...random I think. Mixing all of these genres together puts me off. Although I do keep a wide variety of songs on my Ipod from different types of artists. Too much on one album.
