My is Episode V, "No, I am your father" B-)
Notice I didn't put garbage like Clone Wars on the poll, I also consider Episode I garbage, Episode II is barely not garbage... I put Episode I on the poll though because it would be stupid not to since it is considered mainstream... Who would vote for it anyways lol?

I enjoyed the 2nd part of Episode II, and enjoyed the crap outta of Episode III, I enjoy Episode III as much as Original Trilogy, and that's saying alot! BTW what is your fav movie?

That's a tough one, really. It'd be a close race between Episode IV and Episode V; IV because of it's simplicity; and V because, out of all of the original films it's the closest in feel to the Expanded Universe stuff (books, games, etc.,...). I'd probably say IV though. By a hair.

episode 3 crap? it has the best fight scenes out of all the movies.......and episode 1 is my 2nd fave behind episode 3 why? because darth maul has the double saber and on top of that quigon jinn is only in that movie...so u don't get to see quigon or the double saber ever again......but i'm sorry i had to vote episode 3 as the best as it had the best plot and fight scenes

I remember watching Episode I in theaters as a kid; Darth Maul was a complete and total badass and Qui-Gon Jinn was awesome (I really wish they would have included at least a voice-over from him in Episode III, even if it was just a single line). And, the rest of the movie was great. I know everyone hates Jar Jar and Anakin's crap lines, like "Oops!", but I really liked the film.

I always feel kind of ashamed to like Episode I so much, considering the ridicule it gets from people.

he meant he enjoyed the film haha ;)

its between empire strikes back and return of the jedi...and for me its jedi.

Luke is actually a badass compared to the other 2 films,
he finds out he's been kissing his sister ("somehow i've always known"...then why did you do it then ahahaha),
Jabba gets choked to death,
Yoda passes away :( ,
theres a rancor,
Admiral akbar(?) sez "ITS A TRAP!",
Between Emperor and luke..."your overconfidence is your weakness..."
"...your faith in your friends is yours."

Theres lots of great bits in empire too but jedi just does it for me, i can get over the ewoks ;)

I liked all of them, but the best one for me is Episode III. Just non-stop action and basically answered all the questions for the original trilogy.

Nothing beats the old Trilogy, Episode 4,5, and 6. but i do like the first 3 episodes of course, but not as good as the old episodes, star wars is my world, i wish they did Heir to the empire in movies, or better yet, the Zahn trilogy

I am a bit of a Star Wars purist and I still prefer the original trilogy (episodes 4 to 6) over the prequels, which were a let-down in my opinion. I remember going to see Phantom Menace on opening night and being sorely disappointed. The story was good, but the lame acting, annoying characters and over-the-top CGI killed it for me. Attack of the Clones provided okay middle ground for the series, but it was ultimately forgettable. Revenge of the Sith was quite good, I must admit, and it is provided me with the sense of joy that the two previous prequels could not.

So my favorite Star Wars movie overall? I will say The Empire Strikes Back. The sets, the fighting, the end revelation between Luke and Darth Vader....classic and unbeatable!

I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. I own all the kenner action figures from the late 70's and early 80's as well as the mid 90's re-releases. I also own the original trilogy special editions on VHS and DVD. I also have the prequels on DVD and the two different boxed sets of the original trilogy including the one in the collectors tin that has the latest cut of the films and the original theatrical cuts.

All that being said here is how I rank the 6 Films.

1) Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back: A flawless masterpiece that is as dark in tone as it gets with one of the best twist endings ever that no one saw coming. The entire cast does a wondeful job and the story is just perfect. 10/10

2) Episode IV - A New Hope - The film that captured the imagination of every Star Wars fan and the film that started it all. It lays the ground work for the epic original trilogy story arc and the chemistry with the cast is exceptional from the start. 9.5/10

3) Episode VI - Return of the Jedi - We finally see Luke become a Jedi Knight, the Empire is defeated, and Anakin redeems himself. The lightsaber fight may not be the flashiest...but I would say it is the most emotionally gripping one in the entire series..."Neeevvverr!!!" - Luke A great finish to the trilogy. 9.0/10

4) Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - The prequel that Lucas finally got right that captured the feel and magic of the original trilogy. Ian Mcdiarmid puts on a tour de force display of acting as the Emperor and steals the show. Hayden Christensen redeems himself as he is actually really good as Anakin here and Ewan McGregor is now totally Obi-Wan. It also features the most EPIC lightsaber battle ever filmed that fans had waited nearly 30 years to see and boy did it deliver. 8.5/10

5) Episode I - The Phantom Menace - This one has it's flaws especially the incredibly annoying Jar-Jar Binks. But it has a good story, the pod race is exciting, Darth Maul rules, and Qui Gon Jin Carries the film with an awesome performance by Liam Neeson. I enjoyed it. 8.0/10

6) Episode II - Attack of the Clones - This film is almost ruined by the horrible acting of Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman. The main redeeming features is that Ewan McGregor really starts to channel that Alec Guiness vibe as Obi-Wan and the fact that we see Yoda kick some major butt with his lightsaber skills. I still remember the movie theater going nuts when that happened. Heavily flawed...but watchable. 7.0/10

Cool.
I still don't like the prequels. The acting was terrible most of the time and they didn't follow the books very well at all.
And how is liking something that is better written close-minded?

it came across closed minded.......

if u wish to get how you feel about something across to people you need to learn how to say exactly how u feel and why......instead of saying what u originally did.......

i can agree that the older ones had better acting but i watch star wars for the action and the older ones focused more on the plot than the action sequences which is why episode 3 revenge of the sith will always be my fave because it's action tops em all......

sorry i said u were closed minded

The Star Wars prequels are awful.

Star Wars Episode 1 took a 7 part, hour and a half, review to explain all that was wrong with it.

lmao.
But I actually liked episode 1...
it was episode 2 that made me hate them with a passion.
3 was allright, they could've cut it down a lot and just shown the last 15 minutes.
