Posts: 3,481 Group: Admins Member #719 Joined: May 12, 2009 Currently Playing Bloodborne.	For me it's a toss-up between Final Fantasy VI and Castlevania IV for the SNES. I played both games a lot back in the days when I first had my SNES, and I remember how both games had fantastic music. Listening to it again now, they hold up well. I'm sure better video game music has come out in the years since, but these are my favorites for sentimental reasons.

Level 3 Posts: 236 Group: Members Member #1,768 Joined: Mar 19, 2010	Great thread, I love all of the final fantasy music but if I had to pick one game I'd take FF9 or FF7, Nobuo Uematsu is an incredible composer (Check out his personal band if you get the chance, they're called " The Black Mages". As someone said above, Akira Yamaokas OST for Silent hill 2 is fantastic, the music is one of the reasons why I love this game the most out of the whole series, it adds a depth of perception not seen in any other game I've played, when I play that game I feel truely isolated and alone, it's incredibly atmospheric. Marty O'Donnell did a great job on the Halo soundtrack but the Halo 3 OST is the one that stands out to me the most, Unforgiven is a jaw droppingly incredible composition.However, Kens theme from street fighter 2 is my favourite ever singular game theme though. Heres a cool remix I found of the Tetris theme, it starts off a bit slow but it builds up awesomely, trust me Tetris Dubstep - Click Me Edited by BONEYARDS1989, Mar 20 2010, 12:24 PM.
