Hello everyone! Bediger and I have been attempting to get the "Gaming Together" idea off the ground recently, so here's the thread for playing Wii games online with the community! On the PS3 side of things, there is an Uncharted 2 match scheduled for friday (which you should definatly join), but there will not be a Wii game scheduled just yet. Instead, if you think you'll want to play one of the games below, or if you can think of something you may want to add below, post it! If you say you're interested in the game, it gets a vote. The highest voted may, however, not be chosen. Don't think you're putting your vote towards one game; if you're interested in playing every game, every game will get 1 vote from you! I do have a Wii, but only have a few games. I would be up for some Mario Kart though. I'll have to find my Wii code as I don't know it. @JholmanGames there is a similar thread for PS3, if you want to join in with us there to? |

I must admit I don't have my own copy of Mario Kart atm... I would be up for some brawling though, but as that has just been played by you guys, you should definately play some Mario Kart

I don't really know how the wii friend codes work, do you have a code for the console and for the game? Sorry if i'm being stupid, i have no experience of swopping codes. |

Prepare yourself, because you may laugh histerically at Nintendo's idiocy: Each Wii console has a 16 digit friend code for WiiConect24 related things(mostly messaging), as well as a 12-digit code for each game. Why can't your Wiiconnect24 code act as your one code for each game? Why are there 2 services (WiiConnect24 and Nintendo Wifi Connection) for something that should really only have 1? I don't know. I guess it's possible for a third-party to develop an account system for one of their games, but, as far as I know, none have tried. |

As everyone probably knows forum member matt456 is taking a "bit of a break" from online social activities. matt456 has been in contact with me concerning this thread that he started requesting myself to take over organising of it. However, I'm more involved with the PS3 social side of things and i feel that i would be unable to carry out his request, as it would be too much for me to take on. My thoughts would be that maybe one of the Wii gurus could maintain/organise this, if there was demand. If not maybe another active member of the forum would like to step up to the mark? |

I will give it a try, but I will have to get used to organizing it somehow. If Matt would tell me anything I need to know, I would be glad to do it! Even though I don't own too many online Wii games, I could still organize it for others to play! Also, my vote goes for Mario Kart Wii! |

Umm.... well, registering friend codes can be a hassle, so I'd highly reccommend you make everyone post their's a day or two prior to the event. I'd also reccommend playing the game with a friend beforehand to make sure you know how it all works. I'd also reccommend, since you run them now, partnering this with your website; like I reccommended previously. |

I think that we should keep this going! The Wii is a great system to play offline and online. Now with new games like Monster Hunter 3, and such, we could have more options to play. I would be intrested to organize this if anyone would allow me to? |
