What would the world be without video games?

Everybody has played one of the three latest Call of Duty games that have taken the online gaming community by storm. The question I want to ask is, out of the three latest Call of Duty games (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), which is your favourite. My favourite would definately be Call of Duty 4, although, I have been loving World at War ALOT lately. Oh, and by the way, if you choose Modern Warfare 2 as your favourite, I'm sure that fanboys and trolls will tear you to shreds under their internet bridges. P.S. To all Halo players: Don't hate on me because I play Call of Duty. You and I both know that Halo is just a better game. |

I do not own a COD game. And I don't plan on buying either 3 anytime soon. So none of them are my favorite. Now Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 are both running a close race as my fave battlefield game |

I would say MW2, only because I haven't had as much of an experience with the other two, although all great games. P.S. Halo isn't necessarily the better game... |

On topic: MW1 for me is the best so far, but after playing BFBC2 i'm not going to be playing any more MW2 in a hurry. Off topic: Can I add you in to our PS3 gaming together night? Maybe we should dabble with a little Battlefield 1943... |

There isn't an option for 'dislike this series.' So I went with 5. World at War is a cheap entry and feels like a real sequel to the first PC entries. |

I'll give anyone 1000000000000000000lols00000 reasons why MW2 is a garbage multiplayer game. They ruined the franchise and maybe even the online shooter all together. |

Unfortunately it sold so well i fear more shooters will become as flashy, over-the-top, unbalanced, and noob-friendly. Danger Close Pro, a Grenade Launcher, and Scavenger equals everyone in the world can go 25 kills without dying. And it ends the game? That's just plain stupid. |

Modern Warfare 1 sure it had it's faults but it wasn't so noob friendly, each gun had different recoil, or idle sway. In my opinion Modern Warfare 2 took 1 step forward and 2 steps back. |

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare I play COD on the PC and not on the console. COD 4 was the last good COD game made. I didn't even buy COD MW 2 because even before it was released it was leaked that the PC version was going to be just like the console version this time around. This means you cant host your own servers and were only able to play online with the same amount of people as you can on the console version. On previous COD games on the PC you could get into matches that have over 60 players in them. This was a huge let down for me and then to find out the game is "broken" and more or less unplayable is unforgivable from a Infinity Ward COD game. |

I totally agree taking away dedicated servers from PC gamers is a crime. I just got a gaming PC and was planning on buying it on it, but then I found out about the dedicated servers and just bought it for the Xbox. |

Ahh i was awaiting a challenge  1- Thermals (and the fact you need a perk to prevent this) 2- Heartbeat Sensors (same as above ^^) 3- Killstreaks 4- Noob tubes (at least you were penalized for using them in COD4, missing your first perk... now they give you a title with the 'Noob tuber' name right on it :/ ) 5- Danger Close 7- Scavenger 8- Marathon-Light Weight combo 9- Intervention Stopping Power and FMJ and i get hitmarkers every other shot... how am i supposed to quickscope? (that's the only way i can have fun with such an unbalanced shooter) 10- Bland, unoriginal maps. 11- Danger Close PRO 12- Nukes WHY would they make a killstreak designed for campers that ends the game we're paying 60 dollars for, and another 60 to play? Honestly i can find a million reasons wrong with this game, from a balance standpoint, a competitive standpoint, a fun standpoint, and even a lasting power standpoint. This game ruined such an amazing franchise that will never be respected and/or played competitively because IW sold their souls to become filthy rich. RIP vCOD, COD2, and COD4 - some of the finest first person shooters, all of which revolutionized the genre. COD 4 is the best without a doubt. MW2 is a complete mess, the guns are overpowered (except the sniper rifle oddly enough) The killstreaks are just rediculous, what happened to a air strike and helicopters? Now we have crap like AC130 and the Nuke. Another point is that kills gotten with killstreaks shouldnt count. you are almost guarenteed a nuke if you get an AC130 it seems. The maps are crap (only ones i remotely like are terminal and sub-base and favela is ok I guess) RADAR needs to be gone from all online games. Nothing sickens me more than watching a kill cam where the guy who killed me wasnt even looking my way then does a complete 360 to see my spot. Noob tubes seem to be everones choice weapon. The game is just garbage and broken. |

Are you serious? I'm not being mean, i just don't know if thats your type of humor... (like when Creed from The Office didn't know what a text was )A noob tube is a grenade launcher attached to your weapon that shoots an explode-on-impact grenade where ever you want. Easy kills, hence the 'noob' part. |

It's a tie between Modern Warfare 1 and World at War. There is a lot to like about the gameplay and interface of each game's online multiplayer modes, and I've had a lot of really fun times playing both online with friends. Modern Warfare 2 was a huge disappointment and I haven't played it in months. Playing online is a disastrous mess of things falling from the sky/getting shot by people you can't even see right off your spawn. |

1) Yes but the perk also stops you showing on the radar and getting killed by killstreaks... 2) Heartbeat sensors - Very annoying and unnessecary 3) I don't exactly understand your reason for hating them 4) I agree with the noob tubing, there should be something to discourage people using this. 5 and 7) I'm not quite sure why you hate these too. 8) Used by those who go on stabbing sprees...I'm killed by these guys the mostwhich sucks. 9) I never quick scope because it's stupid. 10) Not the best but I agree with the maps that you like. 11) .... 12) I've got this once and It wasn't easy getting 7 kills without anything and I didn't camp or have a silencer. It is unbalanced but is kind of fun in my view. Not as fair as cod4 or maybe WaW. Another problem I have is the spawning issue. Where I will almost definetly die withing 2 seconds because of an explosion or it's right next to the enemy. I look on the killcam and the enemy turns just one cornor and there I am just about to move! |

Never was a big fan of the number 6 anyways XD But #1- I think it's unnecessary in the first place... it allows you a superhuman ability and gives you an advantage. It looks cool but i think it's dumb that you can be spotted anywhere on certain maps, there's no longer vision tactics: just spray reflexes. #3- They encourage camping and reward individualized play. Also they're not necessary - look at CoD2, Halo, Socom, Rainbow, Counter Strike or any other solid competitively-played shooter: they managed to be fun w/o them. Plus the make the game momentum based - how many times do you join a game, see the kid with the p60 rushing into the same spots, starts dying, the other team calls in an AC13 and kills you whilst you did nothing to warrant their reward. #5&7- See #4 #9 That doesn't mean the sniper should be weak?? It's the hardest way to get a kill, thus is why i enjoy it. It takes talent to do unlike most of this game (i can go 20-4 with a FAMAS easily.) #12- Most people do camp for them, a Large majority at that. And yes, the spawns are all screwed up as well. In most of the other games i mentioned you need to be good to do well, in fact all of em. Yet in this game, even on GB, you run into Danger Close Pro'd grenade launchers on TAR21's (i'll quickscope them, which i PROMISE you is more difficult than any other gun) get a hit marker and they shoot in my general direction and die. They made this game so anyone can be good, not rewarding practice, teamwork, or dedication like any of those other games do. This game sold so well though, that this might become the new trend. That my friends, that is when you'll find me in a gym locker at the YMCA, rope around my neck
