Real clans, rarely is there camping in the matches I play. Much better balance. No killstreaks, you get rewarded by your team winning and getting extra points not personal rewards. And it takes more than a random spray to kills someone

I think the whole hyping up ruined Modern warfare for me, My friends were telling me it was the best game out and i had to play it. Needless to say i was a little disapointed.

I didn't actually play online with this game but the campaign was that awesome Call of Duty 4 deserves my vote!

You may dislike modern shooters, but this is the most populer FPS worldwide, and if the game was no fun at all, then it couldn't could have that title could it? Sure I dislike the noobtube, and i get pissed sometimes due to annoying kids shouting out loud when they die. But anyone who likes online shooters will have a blast playing Modern Warfare 2, it is amazing, it is badass, and it is hands down the best CoD online shooter.

With all the different combinations of classes and the different stratagys it offers It beats down the other two. I understand the pc has no dedicated servers but why hate the console version? You don't have to choose cod4 or wow because they came first.

Saying that anyone who likes online shooters will like MW2 is definitely not true. I love online shooters, I play BFBC2, WaW, COD4, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2 and more, and I HATE MW2. It is such a broken game. Glitches everywhere, the killstreaks are down right retarded, it takes 2 bullets to kill someone across the map, the game is WAY too noob friendly, and the maps are shit. It isn't ONE of the worst shooters I've ever played, it IS THE WORST shooter I've ever played.

I like thre killstreak system. It's different and interesting and earning the ac130 for example is really fun IMO. It's not balanced at all but makes up for it in action and fun. It does require some skill if you want to be very good. However, anyone who's very bad can still play without frustration of being punished for getting killed so many times (No respawn time in some modes). I still find it fun despite the few factors of people noob tubing and so on. If you're any good at the damn game you find solutions to stopping them from killing you. Is this thread just about multiplayer or can we talk about the other parts of the game such as campaign in additional features? What game of the 3 has the better campaign and so on...

You can't tell me you never get killed by any of the ridiculous things i listed because you're good. Honestly with all the perks and bullshit you'd need to camp in a corner with cold-blooded and scrambler.

I've heard literally every racial, ethnic, and sexual slur from kids who would Never say things like that in front of their parents. It creates further intolerance because everyone does it the second the game starts and/or ends.

Yes I do get killed in the most annoying ways but without getting into too much detail of my tactics you have to sometimes beat these people at their own game. Don't expect to own with Quick scoping you're making it hard for yourself on purpose. I don't exactly camp but I don't run around like a looney in open space asking for a grenade launcher in the face. I don't get spawn killed 'All the time' by danger close users so I think it's unfair you're crticising this game mainly on this because I honestly rarely see people with it (I'm aware of your other reasons too but we can discuss them one at a time ).

And in GB people use oneman to shoot a few danger closed noob tubes at our spawn then change into the spray class. All the time. And that's supposed the most competitive, professional style of play...

When Black Ops comes out, I'm guessing all the noob tubers (more annoying than campers, in my opinion) are going to migrate to that game, thus making MW2 a little better. The easiest thing to do would be to take out noob tubes completely, as they were used the exact same way in all the new CoD games. For campers, they could release a patch (secretly) that kills someone sitting in the same spot after 100 seconds and a message that says "STOP CAMPING." OK, that one was a joke, kind of...

I'll answer this one before Dizzy rips your head off. A "noob tober" is basically someone who uses the grenade launcher attatchment on their weapon and that's basically all they do throughout the game. It's annoying for most simply because it is so easy to kill people with and doesn't really require any skill. Camping to some is annoying because it usually involves some person hiding in the same spot waiting for their opponent to run past and they will kill them. Yes, it's annoying the first time you're killed by them. The second time is very frustrating. Third just makes you stupid for getting killed by them without learning from your mistakes. It's a risky strategy because once everyone knows where you're hiding, everyone charges towards you so it can be good and bad.

GB is gamebattles.com, a partner of MLG which holds ladders and tournaments for modern games. And i don't do so because not only would it make the game easy for me, but also there'd be no skill i could build up, just repeating the same cheap kills over and over. I can work at my BR on Halo, i can work on my team strats on RSV2, but on MW2 i would just be using one man army to danger close everyone i see, which is not a shooter i want to play.
