Isn't staying in the same spot (camping) a type of strategy?

Also, what are noob tubers?
I'll answer this one before Dizzy rips your head off.

A "noob tober" is basically someone who uses the grenade launcher attatchment on their weapon and that's basically all they do throughout the game. It's annoying for most simply because it is so easy to kill people with and doesn't really require any skill.

Camping to some is annoying because it usually involves some person hiding in the same spot waiting for their opponent to run past and they will kill them. Yes, it's annoying the first time you're killed by them. The second time is very frustrating. Third just makes you stupid for getting killed by them without learning from your mistakes. It's a risky strategy because once everyone knows where you're hiding, everyone charges towards you so it can be good and bad.
I had already answered your question on page 1, maturely might i add (i'm not as much of an asshole as you think i am, FisHeaD.)

And camping is rewarded in MW2 especially; like i said: my teammates can run up, get killed a few times but someone sitting there (who Barely needs to aim, the assault rifles/ sub-machine guns are extremely, [aggravatingly, for me] forgiving) and that person gets rewarded with a missile/plane/helicopter/bomb that he can take me out with, anywhere on the map, from the comfort of the corner he's hiding in. Sure, it's a tactic in most shooters (one that's normally considered 'novice',) yet the killstreak system makes it so anyone and their mother can get a nuke lying prone in a bush for the entire game.

FisHeaD i realize this game can be fun, but for someone whose looking for depth in their online shooter (more than just a numerical rank, which doesn't prove skill- only time-played) this game is a Major disappointment, especially considering the series' legacy. I'm not arguing with you to argue, no i'm arguing with you out of passion. This game sold so well too, it may very well become the new standard, something that truly scares me.

I understand this, and perhaps I haven't been a part of the multiplayer franchise of CoD or shooters in general for as long as you.
I understand where you're coming from and I don't have the answers to your disapointment all I can tell you is how to play skillfully (I'm sure you don't need me though).

There are other games mentioned before to suit your thirst for playing in a balanced and competitive game.

P.S. I don't think you're an arsehole in just messing about :)

None of the above. Call of Duty 2 by a land slide. It also happens to be my favorite fps of all time and is much better than any of the newer games.

It's the fun factor that attracts so many to MW2 which is important to a game and is the reason it attract the young audience too I think (For the multiplayer). I like thre killstreak system. It's different and interesting and earning the ac130 for example is really fun IMO. It's not balanced at all but makes up for it in action and fun.
It does require some skill if you want to be very good. However, anyone who's very bad can still play without frustration of being punished for getting killed so many times (No respawn time in some modes). I still find it fun despite the few factors of people noob tubing and so on. If you're any good at the damn game you find solutions to stopping them from killing you.

Is this thread just about multiplayer or can we talk about the other parts of the game such as campaign in additional features?
What game of the 3 has the better campaign and so on...
Woah Woah Woah, A young audience? If they wanted to do that, the game wouldn't be rated M for Mature. Also, Skill and MW2 are two words that don't fit. HAI GUYS ONEMAN ARMY NOOBTUBEZ I IS HAZ NUKEZ. And if it isn't that it's UMP LIGHTWEIGHT 5 BULLETS LOL I'M GOOD AT DIS GAME. MW2 Is a BROKEN online game, and the only enjoyment I find in it is when I am playing search and destroy, or a private match with friends.

Also:Why does the ACR, M16, Famas, and Spas 12 all have more range than my Barret?

Not for over a minute. That just tells one that they're waiting for every one of their kills to come to them. Having a UAV up, knowing an enemy is coming, and waiting in a safe spot to ensure you don't die is OK with me.

Also, I'm beginning to think you're trolling, unless you just read the most recent page that's made, because your question about noob tubing has been answered already by Dizzy. Also, stating camping is "a strategy" is just lolworthy.

Well it does attract a young audience. It's typical that anyone underage gets their mum or dad to buy it for them. It's not easy making a fps without being rated a 15 or 18.
I guess everyone needs to find alternatives to MW2 then instead of complaining about it all the time. I get tired of the guys in the middle of a game on it and saying how Battlefield is much better. Why don't you play that instead!!??

Any mainstream multimillion selling FPS will have a huge under 17 population. There isn't enough adult gamers to warrant sales like that in a specific genre.

Like I said above, the only reason I play the trash is because it happens to be the only game my friends have. I just can't wait for the new Medal of Honor....It's gonna blow MW2 out of the water by a long shot.

Cod MW 2 horrible maps but great guns to use that seem to be overpowered
Cod WAW great maps, decent guns, and zombies
Cod 4 the best imo because it was better all around and MW 2 wouldn't be so hyped up about if cod 4 wasn't made.
