It's just one of those games that if you love it, you love it, and if you hate it, you hate it. For me, it's the best series of all time, even the crappy games (I'm looking at you, Mega Man 7!) were pretty good, albeit nowhere near as good as the other, amazing games in the series.

I have played many of the games in the Mega Man series, but I have never beaten them because I get so frustrated playing then. But I keep going back, so they must be doing something right. They are simply quality side-scrollers with insane difficulty, so playing them can become addicting because you are constantly trying to progress. The games are not for everyone, but the fanbase is rabid and they have been buying essentially the same game over and over for 20 years. Not exactly a bad thing.

Level 6 Posts: 855 Group: Members Member #101 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	I think I beat Megaman 2 when I was 8 or 9. Now I can't even get past the darn Elephants in the Megaman 9 demo! Ah to have the patience of the child again would be great! I admire those who can rock out Megaman currently, it's a really tough punishing game, I've been weakened with the ability of many auto save points!
