the reason i think mass effect sucks is because YOU HARDLEY GET TO FIGHT!also you would propley be spending most of your time getting lost in the most HUGGEST ship in gaming history! you do get some prety awsome guns, but you will hardley get to use the guns do to the fact you have to spend alot of your time doing nothing but looking for pepole just so you can continue THE SAME MISSION! i guees that was a review. |

I feel this is gonna be an unpopular view. Although I'll say that I didn't enjoy Mass Effect 2 that much and ended up selling my copy. |

You get to fight a lot in Mass Effect, and you get to talk a lot in it too. It's a shooter RPG so it can't be a straight up shooter all of the time, and if that's what you're after than Gears of War is a better fit for you. How does anybody get lost in the Normandy? Seriously there isn't enough space in the ship to get lost. It's four floors, each floor being a linear corridor with a few rooms in it (one floor being just Shepard's office), and an elevator to take you to the main area of each floor. I'm confused as to how that's even possible to be lost in the ship. The game even shows you the layout for the floor that you're going to in the loading screen. I don't understand your last point. Yes you collect teammates so you can stop the Collectors from destroying human colonies. That's the main goal of the game, but you can do side quests, and do loyalty quests which don't have anything to do with the Collectors. No that wasn't a review. I don't know what that was, but it was confusing. |

I'm not offended, it just really confused me. The getting lost in the Normandy part especially since there really isn't all that much in the ship. |

I just like opinions to be based on reason. It is one thing to just not like a game or to find it not worth the hype. It is another to slam it on points that are ridiculous. For instance, if you didn't like the fact that the story is a setup for the third game and any DLC then that is one thing. To say it didn't have any fights and the ship was hard to navigate is ridiculous. I mean, it is a BioWare game. By your opinion of Mass Effect you essentially remove Jade Empire, Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age from your 'enjoyed' pile. And if you did like them, then it kinda makes your points on Mass Effect null and void. I personally enjoyed both games. |

It depends what kind of games you enjoy. I played this game and found it a little slow and the conversations were dull and made me lose interest. I suggest looking for all action shooters like 'Gears of war' which was already mentioned. |

Well, besides the fact that you are most likely a Tween, what the hell are you talking about? It is an rpg and I am assuming you are talking about mass effect 1? Play 2 if you want more action, but remember this isn't call of duty. Modern warfare 2 is that way ---------> please enter. |

Like a lot of Bioware games, Mass Effect is heavy on talking, storytelling and exploration. It is a long game and definitely not for people who prefer action RPGs with constant waves of enemies. In other words, you need to be patient and willing to put in the time. I have played a bit of the first game, but it was a time commitment I wasn't prepared to make and I moved on to other games. However, I like thed the setting and characters, so I plan to go back to it one of these days. Your viewpoint might be unpopular with fans of the game, but each to their own as I always say. There are many acclaimed titles that I don't personally like (*cough cough* GTAIV). |

To be honest Mass Effect 2 was like the very first RPG I played. I came in with an open mind, and enjoyed it, that's how I now enjoy RPG's such as Oblivion, Final Fantasy, etc. |

Oh No! Someone disliked one of the videogames I enjoyed. This is an outrage!!!!111 Mass Effect was at times, slow as a slug. A dead slug, cemented to the ground. However, it was still extremely awesome. Those slow areas helped build up the Universe and backstory. Ultimately it's a Bioware game.. So you gotta know what you're getting yourself into ![]() Mass Effect 2 was awesoooome. Espicially since it had a cameo from BOO from Baldur's Gate. So, so awesome. |

Yea, if you were expecting a normal shooter, go for Gears of War. ME and ME2 are not just straight up shooters, although I don't understand why you say you "HARDLY GET TO FIGHT!" when in reality there is quite a bit of combat. It is also a great RPG with a lot of talking and a strong storyline. And if you can't navigate the Normandy, well... I don't even know what to say about that. It is pretty linear to me. |
