Hellz yeah! What would be your favorite in the series? Mine would be TTYD definitely. I haven't gotten to the end of the original to judge it fully, but it is definitely my second favorite. I hated what they did with Super Paper Mario. Nintendo needs to learn that when it ain't broke, don't fix it. And it looks like they did! Paper Mario 3DS FTW! I have been so hyped up and playing TTYD a ton lately! w00t! |

Thousand Year Door: the train level and Glitzville are among my favorite memories of gaming in general but honestly I love the original to death as well. I haven't played Super Paper Mario yet, but I'm refusing too. Bring back the turn-based combat! I'm going to re-beat them both, in order, at some point this summer. You should finish the original though, definitely worth it. |

Legend of Zelda is my favorite series with Mega Man being in a VEEERY close second  and more of my favorites would be Final Fantasy, Paper Mario, God of War, Lego, Kingdom Hearts, and Mario Kart just to name a few

The Wild Arms series is my favorite. I really love the original game. Completely enjoyed the remake on the PS2, and enjoyed Wild Arms 3 as well. Part 2 was kinda iffy due to its substandard story and soundtrack, but gameplay-wise it was a lot of fun. Played through it twice. That is if you count RPGs. If you're not talking RPGs, then the original Mega Man series or 2D Castlevania's are my favorite. |

There are so many great game series out there, that have already been mentioned and even though I enjoy a lot of these game series such as Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid; they aren't necessarily my favorite series. Advance Wars: Despite this series only having 4 games each and every game of this series is incredibly enjoyable. If you have a ds I high recommend getting days of ruin since it is well balanced and you'll get addicted to it quite quickly. Castlevania: I haven't really played many castlevania games except the ones for the nes, and snes, but the games for the ds really made me fall in love with the series again. I'm kind of ashamed I haven't played Symphony of the Night yet, but I eventually will. I loved Order of Ecclessia though, because it brought the difficulty factor back into the series, especially getting the medals for all the bosses. Mega Man/Mega Man X: I haven't played any of the newer titles for the GBA and DS, but it is a beloved series that prooves one thing. If its not broke don't fix it. It retains an old but proven formula and even though many of the games do not differ from each other. As long as it has the same gameplay elements is what makes it such an enjoyable series. Star Fox/Star Fox 64: I personally think the only rail shooter I'll ever like, especially the original. Excellent gameplay with some of the best music that would ever grace a snes and N64 cartridge, and a series that everybody should play at least once. Xenogears/Xenosaga: Even though they're not technically connected, it is my favorite rpg and rpg series of all time, with some of the most bveautiful and wonderful music by yasunori mitsuda and such a deep and enthralling story. Rpg fans should not miss out on Xenogears, and the Xenosaga Trilogy for the PS 2. |

My favorite game series would have to be Metal Gear Solid, followed closely by the Atelier Iris and Persona series.

Mass Effect - Great story, characters, voice acting, combat, everything. Killer Instinct - First fighting game I ever played. Love the characters, and music especially. Marvel vs Capcom - Just because it's so insane, and anyone can play it and have a good time. Battlefield - Best online multiplayer series out there. Screw Call of Duty. Perfect Dark - The first game was fantastic in every way at the time, and PDZ had great multiplayer, but an awful campaign. Castlevania - Although that's only based on the DS ones, and Symphony of the Night. Ninja Gaiden - Haven't played the old ones, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma is probably the best action game I've ever played. Edited by NinjaPenguin8969, Jul 2 2010, 02:52 AM.

#1-Without the doubt, MGS series, awesome atmosphere and music, great gameplay, captivating story etc. etc. #2-Probably GTA series, I've been playing them since I was a kid and I still like those games, especially GTA3 and SA. #3-ISS/PES-Since I'm soccer fan and I play these games nonstop. #4-Crash series, each and every game from the series is awesome and pure fun, there is nothing better than playing Crash Bash with 3 of your best friends whole night and laugh your ass off. #5-Quake series, turned me into an FPS fan 9 years ago with Quake II. |

Half-Life Series: One of the best FPS series of all time for sure Halo Series: I know, I must sound crazy. But from both a purely nostalgic standpoint and just good memory standpoint, Halo is one of those series that I always have a good time playing. Zelda Series: No explanation needed There's many more, but I'm too lazy to post them

While its not my favorite series of all time I am going to say Thunder Force just because I will probably be the only person on these forums that would list a SHMUP series and its one of the best out there that continually makes high quality SHMUPS. In fact I cant think of any of the Thunder Force games I didn't like. |
