Summer Backlog 2010; Games to complete over the summer

ds gamer Posts: 182 Group: Members Member #1,161 Joined: Aug 18, 2009	I'm not quite sure if I'm posting this under the correct forum so I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place. Anyway, a couple channels that I'm subscribed to have posted about their summer backlogs so I thought I'd do the same thing on here and see what other games everyone might be playing/completing over the summer. Mine are 1. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 2. Ninjatown 3. Wizard of Oz: Beyond The Yellow Brick Road (the music and graphics on this are awesome but the gameplay sucks) 4. New Super Mario Bros. Wii 5. Super Mario Galaxy (I don't have the 2nd one yet and I want to complete the first one) 6.Super Princess Peach 7. Super Mario 3 GBA 8. Super Mario World 9. Donkey Kong Jungle Climber 10. Yoshi's Island DS I have a lot more older games that I need to finish but these are my top 10.

Hopefully I get to beat all these, but I'm actually very busy this summer, I run cross country and so I'm usually waking up early to run, which means i can't stay up late to play games. I would like to finish around 8 more ds games before summer ends, with a nice mix of genres in there so as to not get tired of any one type of game play. I'm just having a hard time deciding what to play next.

This leads to tons of unfinished games - I'm sure a lot of us can relate to that.

I'm interested to hear what you think of it as your playing through the story (which isn't as straight forward as it might seem).

Definitely won't complete them by summer, so I'll focus on the ones I'm mainly wanting to finish now... 1. Golden Sun (GBA) 2. Luminous Arc (DS) 3. Phantom Hourglass (DS) 4. Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) 5. Super Stardust HD (PS3) 6. Red Baron Arcade (PS3) 7. 1942: Joint Strike (PS3) 8. Trine (PS3) 9. Polar Panic (PS3) 10. Mega Man 9 (PS3) 11. Mega Man 10 (PS3) 12. Hexyz Force (PSP) 13. Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles (PSP) 14. Big Bang Mini (DS) 15. Retro Game Challenge (DS) 16. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii) 17. Infamous 18. Oblivion (PS3, got PC version too but can't play it until I get my new computer, so PS3 version for the summer) 19. Jeanne D'Arc (PSP) 20. Wild Arms XF (PSP) Going to be adding Dragon Quest 9, but I'm going to try to play that one exclusively until I beat it (at least as far as RPGs go). That's my summer list, not too bad. Mostly PSN titles and I'm near complete on a bunch of them already. Just need that extra nudge. Most of the RPGs I just need to grind some more due to tough enemies, and I'm not finding ithe grinding to be fun, so I put off playing them. Hope to finish all or most by this summer from that list.
