Just an interesting topic. If I was a game developer who was very connected with fans and talks to people (like on this board) what would you want my development studio to make?

This includes any sequels you've been waiting years for or new game ideas, but no rediculous ones like, "How about The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2!" That would be near imposible to get access to... only Capcom and *cough* Philips have. Something smaller like... Spyro? Or something new! This will be a fun discussion! (You never know. I could be working on games someday!)

My top vote for a new sequel is A TRUE SPYRO 4!!! WHO'S WITH ME!!! Or new ideas of game ideas you've been cooking up in your mind forever!

I would try and bring a lot more great import titles translated and state side, work along closely with a group to get the translations done a bit speedier, or develop hype for games that otherwise would never see the light of day here. *Cough Earthbound that was on the GBA Cough* than again I would be filling out my own agenda wouldn't I? Ha.

Seriously though we miss out on a lot of titles, or just witness a very SLOW bring over rate, professor layton anyone? I would like to see more strides taken to have games have a more world wide release, especially to the poor UK gamers who seem to get a hold of games much later than everyone else does.

If I were a game developer, I would take the initiative of making a game that I've always wanted to make.

Despite being an anime game collector, one of my other big hobbies is that I am a Slasher movie fan. I know, I've gone from one extreme to the other extreme.

I especially love movies that incorporate some of the biggest slasher icons in horror movie history. Obviously one of favorite horror movie icons is Jason Vorhees from the Friday the 13th movies.

I know games have been made for Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street for the nes but if anybody has watched the AVGN we know that both of those games suck.

I would like to see a Friday the 13th game, in which you play as Jason Vorhees set up in such a way like the Hitman games, in which you can use stealth to get to your target or if you feel like it you can go all out.

I know that a game like this will never be made especially using some of best horror icons, hollywood has to offer, but it would still be fun to play as a popular slasher villian, and get graded on weapon use, stealth, or anything along those lines.

I know they released a game based on the Saw franchise and despite the low scores the game got and from what people are telling me it had very shoddy controls. Hopefully a positive game base can be built out of popular horror licenses, but as I said before its highly doubtful.

And there's no reason we should be slighted on the writing/dialogue due to rushed translation.
