Thank Nintendo lol. Remake of Ocarina of Time sounds fun for the 3DS, but I am actually replaying the game as well as the series right now so hopefully the release date is a little ways off XD. I don't want to replay the same game over and over again.

Just finished watching EA's conference, much better than Ubisoft's in sooo many ways. Looks like an excellent selection of games coming out, going to have to save the pennies! And that trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic? That should be expanded into an animated movie lol. Just need to wait for the Nintendo and Sony conferences to finish encoding on Gamespot so I can see this new DS! Excited!

Ok just a overview for each spotlight in my opinion. This is my first time doing a whole overview in depth so please bear with me.
Just to clarify i do own all three consoles but usually buy xbox 360 multiplats
Microsoft:
Black ops looks pretty good but i have no intentions of buying it unless there is something to grab me in. (DLC exclusivity means nothing to me since i usually dont buy $15 map packs)
MGS: Rising looks awesome!
Gears 3 looks great and am interested in beast mode.
Fable 3 looks like a buy and released this year (October 26)
Codename: Kingdoms can't say much yet.
Disappointed with how Reach is looking graphically but i play halo for online so it'll be a later pickup for me.
Kinect looked good with menu navigation and movie/video chat/ and ESPN.
Kinect games look bad. Blatant rip-offs of the wii. Star wars, Forza, and the dancing one are the only interesting ones.
New xbox design though is one thing i liked also for only $300.
Surprises: No milo and no new xbla games. also no big Rare games.
Lackluster performance M$
EA conference:
NFS: Hot pursuit looks all right, maybe when the price goes down for it.
Dead space 2: Wow it was stunning.
Medal of honor: more modern shooters... yay
BC2 Vietnam: HAHAHA try being more subtle about trying to steal COD's fanbase
MMA- nope
EA sports active 2- meh
Madden 11- nothing will top NFL 2k5 imo, sorry
Sims 3 console version is a no go for me
Crysis 2 looks nice but what can it do thats new.
Bulletstorm looks like good ole fun with incentive to score the most possible points.
Starwars- trailer was stunning and epic but i'm not going to be able to play it.
Ubisoft conference:
Assassin's creed Brotherhood looks great (Although i enjoyed the 1st creed game immensly so i'm a tad biased) but i'm interested to find out more about the multiplayer.
The host was painful to watch and there was a stretch of games that i snored through that dont even deserve to be listed here.
Ghost recon looked pretty cool and i prefer third person shooters compared to fps.
Then there was rayman, awesome! Rayman 2 the great escape was one of my favorite games for the N64 so i naturally am delighted to finally see another game for him to hopefully shine in.
Nintendo conference:
Zelda looked promising (although i don't like the title, just doesnt have that ring to it yet) Hopefully it will turn out to be a new immersive experience.
Then mario sports and wii party... you could tell reggie didnt even want to talk about that.
Just dance 2......
Golden sun: Dark Dawn (cool title) don't have a ds but it looks impressive.
Epic mickey looked new and pretty fun and steamboat willy throwback was awesome.
Kirby: epic yarn (what's with nintendo and putting "epic" in their titles?) I thought the design was exceptional cant wait to see how it turns out.
Metroid: other M- still am waiting to see if it will deliver but it looks very promising.
Donkey Kong country returns looks like a great throwback! I loved DK64 but the 2d experience of DK country is still my favorite. High hopes.
The 3ds looks great with pictures in 3d movie watching in 3d and most of all, no glasses! Sorry they give me headaches sometimes. If they can pull this off as some reports are saying, then bravo Nintendo, bravo.
Kid Icarus looks stunning and the combat looks fun.
All the 3rd party developers (notably mgs and kingdom hearts) seem to be excited about the 3ds.
Ocarina of time on 3ds? Hell yeah!
And no vitality sensor! Interesting...
Surprises: No vitality sensor therefore no eternal darkness. No pikmin 3.
Very good showing from nintendo!
Sony Conference:
Big focus on 3d but not sure how they will sell the whole idea of buying an incredibly expensive hdtv just so they can show it off.
Killzone 3 looks like more of the same, but thats no bad thing unless you didnt like the weighty feel of the weapons.
Move technology looks very impressive!
Sorcery games looks fun (being a harry potter fan)
Heroes on the move looks like a classic in the making or a bust.
Kevin Butler was needing to be at the conference and thankfully he showed up but how will marcus do? But i do like how they are trying to reinvigorate interest into the psp since a psp2 was really unlikely.
LBP2 looks like it has improved in every way and can't wait for the final product.
Premium plus? meh i'll take my free online thank you.
Medal of honor again? boring to me.
Dead space 2 is looked amazing!!
The second that robotic voice took over the stage presence of jack tretton i nearly fell out of my chair. Portal 2 showed up and it looking phenomenal!
FFXIV? Online is a no go for me.
Brotherhood online trailer looks exactly like i want to play and experience.
GT5 is finally coming out Nov. 2. We'll see how it faces up with forza 3.
Very disappointed at infamous 2's approach... all i have to say about that overhaul...
And the big ender, twisted metal! Looks like endless online play.
Surprises: Twisted metal, Sly collection, and the preciseness of Move. Unfortunatly there was no Last Guardian which is a real let down.
Sony though did very well considering they followed up the best from Nintendo.
Nintendo and Sony both get A's for me, very good in catering to their core audience's and revealing many exclusive titles.
Microsoft: B- Needs moore games and less casual focus.
Thanks for reading!

Nintendo definitely owned today, no doubt. I'm getting my Wii tomorrow, now that I know a pricedrop isn't coming any time soon. That's why I've been waiting, to see what happened at E3.

Looks like theres no better time to be getting into the Wii scene. Great existing catalog and the future of the system has never looked so promising.

I didn't realize this till now, but I was so blown away to even think about it, Nintendo didn't even mention Vitality Sensor. I wonder and hope that project has been scrapped. And can't believe Matt was right when he said they wont discuss a price for the 3DS, I remember saying has a console/handheld ever been announced and not have a price announced with it, apparently there is now :O

But it also bothers me, I was hoping it would be out this holiday season, but since no release date was announced I'm assuming that isn't happening. And I wonder if they held back on a price point because its going to be over $200 dollars and were afraid of backlash on that.

Nintendo was very aware of how successful the DS was in general and everyone was anticipating the 3DS. They knew they had the control of E3 unveiling it, most likely they held back on the price tag for a specific reason. I would assume it's very high and would drive away some of the interest.

Pretty excited about it and I've never been excited for a new console to come out mainly due to the high price tags.

I SUCK AT GAMES

I liked Sony's showing the best. They had so many games that appeal to me, and the Twisted Metal showing at the end was just icing on the cake. Kevin Butler was awesome like always, and kudos to them for advertising the hell out of the PSP now. I've already seen that Marcus PSP commercial 5 times on TV today, but personally I think Kevin Butler should do both PS3 and PSP ads. On two occasions they read my mind of what I wanted too. Sly Cooper Collection, and Time Crisis with the PS Move.

3DS is really awesome, but the only Wii games that looked interesting were Zelda (of course), and Donkey Kong remake imo. I can't believe GoldenEye is Wii exclusive with Daniel Craig. Bad graphics, and lack of Pierce Brosnan.

Microsoft went too far with Project Shitbox. Aside from using it for voice command during music, and movies the games for it looked like crap, and the little Asian girl with the Tiger was really creepy. Forza 4 looks great though.

I have not seen the sony conference yet. But yes, it's good they are advertising the PSP more. I own both a DS and a PSP, and I play my PSP faaarr more then my DS.

I really wanna get Skyward Sword, because everything looks amazing in it.

I want to get a 3DS, i have to know how it looks.

I want to get a 360 because of Project Natal and all other amazing titles it has i've never played.

I'm blown away how well they did the Move Project for the PS3. Sorcery for the PS3 looks amazing, and they're developing extremely precise Sword and Shield Games, which i would die for to play. It's the system with the most exclusives i want to play.

I don't know what to say. I don't have enough money.
In the end i think i'll go for the Wii Zelda+3DS.

After seing all the press conferences, Nintendo definately came out on top.

I was abit dispointed with the way Microsoft showed their jewels. Sony did pretty well, but nothing compared to Nintendo.

Once again Nintendo managed to amaze everyone with amazing games, that ensured their hardware a promising future, wanting us to play the Wii and the DS even more. With Titles such as:

007 Golden Eye. Donkey Kong Returns. Kirby's Epic Yarn. Mario Sports Mix. The Legend of Zelda. Metroid Other M.
And once again a new handheld, the Nintendo 3DS!

Nintendo stays on top, and amazes everyone once again: Well done Nintendo!

Strip the Flesh, salt the wound!

Where the hell was Resistance 3 and The Last Guardian?!

Sony and Nintendo had great conferences, I think Nintendo was better by a fraction because of all the great games announced(Kirby, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus,..etc). Zelda looks promising, but the controls seemed a little bit unresponsive. Miyamoto said that was due to wireless interference...I really hope so.

Sony had some amazing games too(Sorcery, Heroes on the move, Twisted Metal,...etc). I don't know why they didn't mention R3 or the last guardian. I was really looking forward to them. But, the PSmove was amazing. To me, Its way better than Kinect.

All in all, this was a pretty good E3(other than Microsoft and Ubisoft). Im very excited about a lot of games and Hopefully next year will be better.

As one of the hosts on G4 said, "In Miyamoto we trust."

I doubt he'd ever release a game that didn't work and wasn't good enough to put on the market. Probably why he said they'd be working on it until the end of the year. He won't disappoint us, that's for sure.

Craig Harris of IGN.com stated:
"Wii Motion Plus can use the infrared sensor bar to recalibrate itself, and with the audience filled with devices emitting infrared, it was throwing off the device something fierce. I had the same problem when trying to play Wii Sports Resort last year in our video studio: infrared pollution. Luckily, the game works. The Wii MotionPlus definitely helps with Link's ability to slice and stab with 1:1 precision."

So I think we can rest assured that the controls work without problems.

LittleBigPlanet 2 was my favorite game from Sony's conference.

As for the PlayStation Move, Sorcery was the only game that remotely interested me, but not enough to buy it.

I rewatched Microsoft's unveiling of Kinect on Nickelodeon and... what the hell were they thinking?! That was the most pretentious, overblown, embarassing thing I've ever seen.

The EA and Ubisoft shows sucked; Ubisoft's was embarassing with the stupid lazertag thing (I hate when people suddenly come out of no-where and pretend to do something) and the Michael Jackson thing. On the plus-side, the chat got pretty excited when they showed Rayman Origins.

Nintendo stole the show for me. New games like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Kirby's Epic Yard, and (my favorite so far) Donkey Kong Country Returns. Then the 3DS and its games! Just awesome!

It amazes me that nintendo had such a strong conference, while neglecting to even mention a ton of the 3ds and a couple of the ds titles they put up on their e3 website. I think if they had mentioned all those 3ds games at once it would have been too much of an over load.

That isn't the end of it. You'll be able take pictures of content codes with your camera or cell phone, go to your friend's house who has an eye toy and then scan your cellphone/camera's view screen for the code.

Then you can get your custom created content on their machine. Not only is it a way to sell Move components but it also brings social gaming back to the forefront.
