 Some weeks ago i ordered a Red Game Boy Pocket from Amazon.
Today it finally came but insted of the Battery Cover it has a strange thing on it i can't get to work.

I tried to charge that thing and after it charged put the cable in the DC InPut, but nothing seems to work.
I serached it on Google and i didn't find anything.

Does anybody know what it is?

I really appreciate any Help. Thanks :)

 That's an old style rechargable battery pack me thinks.

Edit: Sorry, I'll elaborate, 3rd Party addons that boast additional playtime. 14 hours constant playtime with one charge! kind of stuff. Not worth anything, and just generally a pain in the backside.

If it doesn't work, ditch it, put some AA's in that badboy and see if it boots up.

Battery Covers missing is the prime problem for GBs, GBCs, GBAs etc etc

 Problem is that when i connect it to the GameBoy, i can't even play it. With batteries the Game Boy works, but i doesn't if the Gamester LMP is connected.

 Cut your losses chap, ditch the powerpack and just use normal batteries. May want to eBay a battery cover in the same colour.

3rd party add-ons -especially in that generation- last from 12 'till noon.
