Posts: 98 Group: Members Member #2,209 Joined: Jun 13, 2010	Hey there guys, so I'm sure all of us have had those moments in different games over the years, when we watch an event, and we have to pause for a moment, with that "What the hell?", look on our faces. So entertain the forums, and tell us of one or more of the oddest moments you've ever seen in a game or a series over the years. One of the oddest moments I've ever had goes throughout the Pokemon series. Let me sum up the moment within the first ten minutes of every game for you guys. Protagonist: "Hey mom, so the Professor gave me a wild animal to carry around with me. He didn't have any papers, I'm just assuming he has all of his shots." Mom: "That's nice dear, oh it is so cute." Protagonist: "He wants me to leave home forever to go and attack other animals." Mom: "That's nice dear, I hope you have fun. Make sure you come back every couple of months so we can have a variation of this conversation." She gives you no money, no food, no knowledge of the outside world to my understanding, and seems to focus more on how cute your Pokemon is than actually saying goodbye to you. This is more than likely the last time anyone talks to the mother throughout the entirety of the game. Edited by EnamoredElcor, Jun 23 2010, 10:53 AM.

But once again, isn't that basically the end of your journey other than the Elite Four?

Ds Games! Posts: 3,129 Group: Moderator Member #511 Joined: Apr 6, 2009	I always find it funny when talking to people in professor Layton games about the main story, they go off on a tangent about how they woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and also how it reminds them of a puzzle. I love the games however.

Level 9 Posts: 2,243 Group: Members Member #1,460 Joined: Dec 21, 2009	Half Minute Hero would start up with some opening theme song and title screen, you do your 30 second/1minute level, and then the credits roll with ending music every single level lol. They really tried to make it out like your doing some hardcore long time consuming event, it's a joke to the RPG genre and I love it! Awesome stuff lol

Haha Andsy, I can safely say i'm in love with ya Anyways, there's a lot of psuedo-sexual moments through out the Metal Gear Solid series that always makes me confused as to why they're there in the first place. Can't imagine Kojima is much of a ladies man...
