So I began to play this game earlier this year. I got to like level 12 and stopped. I really loved it but I had no one to play with. I am bored with WoW a the moment. So does anyone here play LOTRO?? Or would like to start playing?

It becomes free to play in the fall, micro transactions and all that. I'll probably play around with the free stuff when it allows for it. I remember having fun in the beta.

If what Turbine did with Dungeons and Dragons Online is any indicator the game won't change all that much. All the content currently available will be free and there will be premium content added. Those who choose to still pay a monthly fee will get this content for free, others will have to pay for it through in-game rewards or by paying for them.

Well I read that people playing for free could only do quests in the starting areas, if they want to quest outside of that they have to pay. I guess you could grind your way up, and there are other restrictions.

I find a chart displaying what restrictions would be on the free to play account as opposed to the other types of accounts.

This is incorrect. You can level to 50 and do all the PVE content. If you want to play the Mines of Moria content you'll have to buy the Mines of Moria expansion. It is spelled out on the website: http://www.lotro.com/betasignup/
