Ds Games!

It would be nice of you to go for two DS games, that way you don't make them spend too much money :). If you like rpg's, I suggest FF4, chrono trigger, the dragon quest games, the dark spire, or etrian odyssey.

Hey, it's your birthday so you should get what you want (within reason) :P

I would recommend Super Street Fighter IV 360, Chrono Trigger DS, and Kingdom Hearts for the PS2

Chrono Trigger is an amazing RPG that was originally for the SNES. Some would argue that it's one of the best games of all time. NostalgiaKing did a review for it on here:

http://petesgameroomforum.com/topic/3487179/1/#new

Other games I would recommend: Blazblue Calamity Trigger for the 360, Tales of the Abyss for the PS2, Blue Dragon for the 360 (JRPG), Valkyrie Covenant of the Plume for the DS.

Gamer. Graphic Designer. Geek.

when i ask my parents to get me something for christmas or my birthday, i usually find a picture of the cover of the exact game or book i want, and i print it out on the printer and give it to them lol. that way they can take it to the store. also if there's anything important that they might miss, like 360 or ps3 on the side, or like the number 2 or II after the title and it's kind of hidden, then i circle it or highlight it.

IF you like GTA, you may consider RDR, I'm a fan and everyone else seems to be crazy about it. For RPG's Lost Oddyssey, Eternal Sonata, and FF13 on 360, FFF10 on PS2, and don't forget that with PS2, you can still play PS1 games, there's a ton or great RPG's there. It all depends on how much they want to spend, what you like playing the most, and weather or not you play online.

Do you need a sedative?

I LOVED the first crackdown but when I played the 30 minute demo of the second game I didn't feel much had been changed. It felt like more of the same, I couldn't help being a little disappointed.

Yes. Yes I do :P

Red Dead is worth getting, but leave it 2-3 months and the price will plummet through the floor.

I'd go with Chrono Trigger for the DS and Lost Odyssey if you a 360 RPG or Final Fantasy X if you want one for your PS2.

Eternal Sonata like eSkilliam said. Also, Star Ocean: The Last Hope

Both will cost about what 50-60 together. Cheap games with epic lasting power.

Final Fantasy 13 for a few reasons - 1. The Cgis are Mindblowing
2. The battle system is fairly tough to adjust at the start but you'll notice the element it brings when you start geting knocked out by normal enimies
3.Roughly It should last you a good 50-60 hours

Red Dead Redemption could be worth a shot if you enjoyed gta with lots of extras once you finish the relatively short story

I know nothing about RPG's, but since you like action/fighting games I'd recommend Bayonetta, Darksiders, Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, BlazBlue, Soul Calibur IV, and Ninja Gaiden II.
Imo, Bayonetta is the best action game out of those.

Look about videogames on recent systems. Alot of them will get old real fast.
There are some series that is nice, but

FInal Fantasy. Just ingore it, the series has gotten way too sallow, and you will have more fun with the 2d games.

Ninja Gaiden, is like the next and last Ninja game. Have you played the originals ( real versions ) yet? You can get that Shinobi Frenchie hero game or that Castlevania clone ( Devil May Cry ). Again try the originals first. You will feel much better.

Soul Calibur is like the next, and last Soul Calibur. You can play via mame for free with people around the world. Just think about it, A game where you do fancy sword fighting in 3d realm.

The game that is worth the wait is Beyond Good and Evil. I really hate the fact that it is not on the Gamecube, but what are we going to do? It is on the X-box, and the next one is soon to be out.

Any game, I could finish in a day, no matter what the game is. If you want to
waste time on this planet, then I suggest, working out, reading books, or
getting sex. I mean You can beat other things, that is more worth while.

You love videogames, then try spend some time learning programming with
Assembler, and Visual basics. Maybe you can make something worth while that
we all can enjoy. Games are not for wasting, time they are for self-enjoyment.

Also might like???? :'( It is that you love it or you don't. The world is really big, so don't do something that you can't enjoy. All those games, is going to cost pennies in the future. Only a few will have any value. Especially with the shotty
box constuction.

We are all being lied to. We need to stop buying new videogames, destroy every 360, Wii, and PS3 you can find, including ones in stores. . Funcoland died when the evil gamestop took over. There is no more dragons den. Burn all the new videogames. destroy, and burn all 3d neo games. Fill ever forum with the message that we all need to hear.

2D OR DEATH.
