I kinda want Spain to win cause of Torres (I'm a big Liverpool fan). Then again, Kuyt plays for Holland. So I don't really have a preference, I just want to see a good match.

I was for Germany since the World Cup began and I don't think any of these teams deserve it to be in the final. This. I wanted Germany to win. I'm kinda rooting for the Netherlands because I have lots of Dutch friends. But I'm finding this game, up until now, very boring. It's starting to pick up in extra time but regulation time was so boring. And once again the refs were handing out yellow cards like crazy.

I lost money on that one, and happened to be in an Argentinian bar during that game...lol. Grats to Spain, but I thought the Germany vs Uruguay game for 3rd place was much more entertaining. It needs to be called everytime it happens. And if someone dives to frequently, they should be carded. They ruined the game for me today with the constant stoppage of play.

Although it was dull in places, there were a lot of decent chances which made it more exciting to watch. I think the referee it a great job, he did hand out a lot of yellow cards but not without good cause, the Dutch were lucking not to go down to 10 men earlier in the game. Yeah, looking at that last ditch challenge from Puyol if the player had gone down I think he (Puyol) would have got a red; no attempt to play the ball. It seems like Arjen Robben was penalised for keeping his feet.

Level 4 Posts: 361 Group: Members Member #1,325 Joined: Oct 14, 2009	uhh i never really understand why but i cant stand watching any kind of sport, no matter what it is... the only reason why i watched the last 40 mins of this finale was cause i had nothing else to do. i have never been so bored watching tv i just dont get whats so big about watching sports but hey whatever floats your boat ^^ if you really want to know which one i would have wanted to win would have been holland (only cause i like holland more than spain and ive actually been to holland)
