Posts: 670 Group: Founding Members Member #57 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	Games now a days are expensive and i think a cool topic would be to recommend the games that you think people will get the most out of their money this year. Here is the catch. Only one game for the month and the months that can be included are July, August, September, and October, November, and December (can have two games from any month). Also another thing try not too let games blend genre rise. July BlazBlue Continuum shift why- BlazBlue is a extremly well crafted fighter. No characters feel the same and the game is very noob friendly i find. It is one of the best 2D fighters i have ever played and is also the best looking one. The game should have a great online mode and should be packed with a lot of content. August Metroid other m why- I believe this is going to be many peoples wii game of the year and also game of the year. It is being worked on by team ninja which is a great game company that is really fleshing out the metroid series. Metroid other m looks like it is going to give the series a great story and a whole new gameplay mechanic. This game looks like a truly great action adventure game mix with some platforming for good measures. September (very hard one) Dead rising 2 why- This game is just pure zombie killing fun. Not only is everything your weapon in this game it has a whole new environment and everything. It takes place in las vegas and the game is looking nice. There fixing things from the first and are also adding a multiplayer online mode which looks sick. Definitely check this game out. October- Fallout New vegas why- Get the fps that last forever this gaming season. I dont need to say much about fallout cause everything has been said. If you want a game with a truly engrossing atmosphere, drastic player changes, a cool turn on the fps gameplay, awesome weapons, unique charcters and enemies, a vast world, looting, and much much more then fallout should be a must buy for you. November- (LBP fans are going to hate me) Gran turismo 5 why- This is a favorite among a lot of gamers and i enjoy it too. This game has tons of cars and probably also has the most realistic graphics i have ever seen (telling from trailier and screen shots). Its a great racing sim and its going to have a lot of depth and its a huge game overall. December- Kirby's epic yarn- Did you guys see the trailer for this how could this not be on the list its a must buy lol. F.3.A.R Fear is not only one of the best fps out there now a days imo its one of the scariest actually. Im not that scared of it anymore to be honest i got used to it in the first one but the 3rd looks extremly good. There is a new co-op mode where one player plays as the regular solider from the series but the other plays as his brother who is a ghost. The ghost has completely different gameplay and can hinder or help the other charcter. Online for this game is also pretty good i highly recommend this one. (please note that tons of games did not make the cut and this list was on of the hardest list i had to made. :[ sorry golden eye, donkey kong country, need for speed hot pursuit, DC universe online, little big planet 2 and pretty much every other game. This gaming season is going to be hectic)

It's worth mentioning that some of the developers who were on the Fallout 2 team are working on New Vegas. So this is likely to be the closest we're gunna see of a proper sequel. If you liked Fallout 3, you're gunna love New Vegas. If like me, and you haved F3, but loved the originals, you're probably dreading the end result. Is this gunna be the final nail in the coffin that houses our hopes of a proper Fallout sequel?

Gamer Posts: 4 Group: Members Member #2,334 Joined: Jul 13, 2010	Normally the announced Nintendo Wii Titles such as "Wii Party", "Kirby Epic Yarn", "Donkey Kong Country Returns", "Metroid Other M" (First Metroid game I'm going to get, meaning I never played the others), Goldeneye 007, Conduit 2, Sonic Colors, Epic Mickey, PS3 Titles, I think "Assassin Creed: Brotherhood", and "Dead Rising 2". DS Titles, nothing to except until Next Year.

July-if you where late on any of the good titles earlier in the year you should get the one you missed. august- metroid other M, hey i agree with you. sept.-dead rising 2, its dead rising Oct.-sims 3 console edition Nov.- COD black ops i saw the e3 demo and i thought it looked amazing and the gameplay looked great Dec.-its the holidays take whatever you can get your hands on!

August: Mafia 2 September: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 October: Fallout: New Vegas November Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Really theres so many good games hitting this fall and most dont even have release dates such as the new Castlevania game, its really hard to choose between all the good ones coming out. West End Wombat Posts: 549 Group: Members Member #161 Joined: Jan 27, 2009	July- StarCraft II Wings of Liberty (PC) been waitin for this game forever, and the waits over next week, cant wait to get my hands on it could be one of the best RTS games of all time August- Mafia II (PS3) the original was amazing and the sequel looks like a cross between GTA and the Godfather, plus the PS3 is getting exclusive DLC September- Halo Reach (360) im a huge Halo junkie so this one is a no brainer October- Vanquish (360) it looks like a combination of Bayonetta, Gears of War, and Halo, and that gives me an erection November- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PS3) ACII was phenomenal, this will continue the story plus have kick ass multiplayer December- James Bond 007 Blood Stone & Need For Speed Hot Pursuit these 2 games look like they have a lot of potential to breath some awesome into 2 series that have gone rather stale in the past few years

Pre-ordered : ) And on top of that, Halo: Reach is a definate must. Call of Duty: Black Ops seems to be pretty great, I'll be picking that one up as well.

I'm not sure when these games are coming out (at least where I live). I'll probably check out some of the other games coming out due this year (Halo, Assassin's Creed, F.3.A.R., etc...), but those three I listed first, is the ones I'm most excited about.

Professor Layton, Final Fantasy, Lufia, Ghost Trick, Golden Sun, Etrian Odyssey 3 and I can even throw Dq 9 in here since July is still open. That's leaving out the more niche games as well.
