I can't agree more with the latest TG review! Devil's Crush is one of the best examples of video pinball. I have both the TG and Genesis versions, and I recommend them both. Here is a link comparing the TG and Genesis versions: TG Gen comparison At the end of the review, the pseudo-sequel called Dragon's Revenge is given a bad rap. Maybe I'm just easy to please, but I liked that one as well. The only one I didn't like was Jaki Crush on the SNES. It just bored me for some reason. Oh well. I have alien's crush and I felt it was an alright game. I'm not a huge pinball person and I've had more memories to the NES game "Pinball" than anything else. Devil's Crush looks really sweet though. Price wise, which is cheaper? Genesis or Turbografx? |

The Genesis version tends to be cheaper, especially if you get just the cartridge. The name was changed to Dragon's Fury, with substitute graphics for the pentagrams. Everything else remains intact. The Genesis cartridge by itself should be no more than $5. The TG version can be more expensive, but has more vibrant colors. If you prefer completeness (box & manual), expect to pay more for either one. For additional fun, bring the game on your Turbo Express or Nomad when you go out. Great for those times when you're stuck in line at the post office. Edited by Naniyue, Jul 15 2010, 08:49 AM.

I'll probably have to pick up the Genesis version. I'm not picky on condition or collectibility, I just want to enjoy the game Thanks for the heads up man

Try looking outside of eBay. I found a complete copy at Trade N Games (online store) for $19, vs. the $40+ you see on eBay. It's easily the best pinball game I've ever played, and one of the best overall too -- so addictive. I've seen screenshots of the Dragon's Fury game, and the color scheme looks profoundly wrong. The background and the moving pieces of the foreground are all very bright, making it impossible to follow the action. Devil's Crush has a muted background and vibrant foreground pieces, making it much easier on the eyes. |

I've been tempted to pick up the Genesis version. I'll get the TG version if I find it cheap. I am REALLY wanting to pick up a Turbo Express.....will prolly drop the cash for one next year. I've already gotten a Gen Mobile, FC Mobile 2, and FC 16 Go to play my Gen, SNES, and NES stuff on the go, (thinking about getting a Nomad for the gen carts cuz the sound on the Gen Mobile sucks). Really wanna get the Express to play some of my turbo chips on the go though, especially since most of the tg-16 games have an arcade feel to them. |
