Also saturday they will begin gutting the games to be put out in the bin. Nice post! I'm not a huge GameStop fan but... Dark Void is only 10 dollars now?! I got to play it a bit, and liked what I experienced. I might have to pick up a copy of that tomorrow. |

Same, I rarely shop at gamestop. I don't even get the b2g1f sales because of the condition the games come in, all stickered up, 3 stickers to 1 game blah. But I cannot turn down Fallout 3 GOTY Edition for 40 bucks. Oh and the sale for that Dark Void isn't until Sunday, let them know by Saturday if you wanted a sealed copy. July is a slow month for game sales, nothing really great comes out, so I'm guessing the reason for these sales is just to improve profits during a slow month. |

Dark Siders for 19.99 is just excellent. Dante's Inferno for 29.99 is amazing and Demon's Souls for that price as well. If you can get them sealed it is an amazing deal. |

I've heard from a few people that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 is inferior to the Xbox 360 version, and this is even mentioned in the Gamespot review. Most of the complaints seem to be about glitches, framerate issues and other bugs. These may have been fixed since, so I'm not sure if you'll notice a difference. On the topic of Gamestop, I went to one last night and they were not having any kind of sale. I guess Gamestops in Canada don't mirror the sales of the US locations. |

Even if we Canadians had the sale, there is not really anything on that list I'm interested in getting. Anything that had any interest I already bought when it first came out, but I'm sure a lot of people will take advantage of the line up of games. It is a solid list for most gamers, just not me. |

Thanks browland1 appreciate the info. Ended up going with the 360 one. My haul: DJ Hero (360) Fallout GOTY Edition (360) Too Human - not on sale, but only $10 bucks used. The Gamestop guy even gave me the pre-order armor card. LOL. My Gamestop employees are great just crossing my fingers that it still works! Would have liked to pick up Dante's Inferno, but it was getting too expensive. Hopefully they still have some copies on August 1st since $30 for it is a great price. Stopped by and took a look at what they had. Not too much stuff was in the 50% off bin but I did get: Crash Twinsanity (PS2) Time Shift (360) Both for $9. I'm going to head to the other GameStop tomorrow and see if they have anything worthwhile. |
