Hey I just wanted to know your opinion on eminem's new album. In my opinion he is the best rapper alive. My fav songs in recovery are Not Afraid, Love the way you Lie, and No Love. |

I didn't like it. Probably because I've never been a huge fan of Eminem. All his old "good" stuff was just him being violent and rapping like everything was a cartoon. If I wanted that, I'd just watch Looney Tunes. Sure, he had introspective songs once in awhile, and yeah the new album was the rawest he's been in awhile. But I think the damage has been done. Eminem is probably one of the most overrated rappers ever. And that's not a color thing, because there are plenty of white dudes who can rock the mic. I prefer his earliest material (circa early 90's to '96) to anything he's done since. And I truly am a fan of this material. Just not a fan overall. Edited by Mshkote, Jul 17 2010, 03:19 PM.

Not a fan, but everyone else in the world is so I guess i'm just missing something. But then again, Mshkote knows a ton more about that genre than I do so maybe there's hope for me yet

Im a pretty big fan of eminem but i haven't heard his newest album yet. I really hope its better then relapse though i could only find like 3-2 songs i liked on that album lol. |

I'm not a rap fan, by any means, but my fiancee is a huge Eminem fan. So, needless to say, I have definitely heard the new album..and surprisingly, I really like it, as well. The song that he did with Rhianna is especially good. And I'm not sure if it's on Eminem or Lil' Wayne's newest album, but the song that they did together, "Drop the World," is really good, as well. |

Eminem has turned into a disappointment. I really thought he had something in the earlier days, but ever since...(i cant remember the name of the third album :X).... he's become majorly watered down. He just has nothing to say anymore, musically or lyrically. ***BUT im actually enjoying his new album more than i thought i would.*** Edited by MuayThaiNinja, Jul 21 2010, 06:27 PM.
