Hey, some friends and I are doing a gaming marathon of Sega games to raise money for a charity called Ten Thousand Homes which builds houses for orphan children in Africa. We've been at it for over a day now and have gotten all the trophies for Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and beaten Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Channel 5, and The Typing of the Dead. If you could watch and donate (at the risk of sounding cliche, every little bit helps), that'd be grand.

We're streaming live here.
You can donate here. When you use the ChipIn widget you give money to the charity directly through PayPal; it never goes through us. ChipIn just keeps track of how much we've raised.
More on Ten Thousand Homes...
Ten Thousand Homes creates HOME for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa by building multi-care centers, homes, and providing a sense of belonging for orphans and vulnerable children. Ten Thousand Homes brings HOPE by providing quality training, education, and economic opportunities. We are more than a mission. We are a Movement of ordinary people actively building HOPE and creating HOMES for Africa's orphans and vulnerable children. Building 10,000 Houses is the easy part. Creating HOME for 10,000 children...that is all together different. Help us create the physical space for Africa's children to do more than simply survive!
So says Mr. Stewart.
