I think the psp is definetly underrated. With tons of rpgs from Wild Arms, to final fantasy, Phantasy Star, and a bunch of atlas games. and it also has God of War. Also there is strategy games like patapon. I am just basically saying that the psp needs some love, but the psp go is a whole different story. Post your opinion on it.

The PSP is one of the most underrated video game systems of all time. It has excellent games with the best graphics ever in a handheld. Awesome first party titles like God of War and Motorstorm, and great third party games like GTA and Rockband. It can play movies, music, browse the web, you can even use it as a phone(kind of). Sony just made a few dumb mistakes like not putting in a second analog nub and not giving it much attention.

I think that both the DS and PSP are spectacular consoles, but the games on the PSP are more geared towards my tastes, and some of the games on it seriously are just underplayed and overlooked completely sometimes (Same can be said for the DS). It definitely does need more love as a console though.

It's underrated by the Gaming community, but try to tell anyone else that the DS is better than the PSP, they'll just laugh in your face, you know, people just looks at the graphics.

Yes I agree with the PSP being underrated.

IMO the DS is somewhat overrated. Not denying that there are good games on it or anything, it is just that the whole touch/dual screen thing (and the cameras) are a bit gimmicky. Also, IMO the DS is overpriced.

But yeah, the PSP does have heaps of good, underrated games on it. And PSP games are cheaper than DS games, especially with the new "Essentials" range that all cost $14.95 (Australian) brand new. And the "Essentials" range is not all shovelware either, titles include Pursuit Force, Sonic Heroes and GTA Liberty City Stories.

Also, i'm not anti-Nintendo or anything, I just don't like the DS as much.

I've always liked the PSP as a system. However it's always seemed that SOny are reluctant to fully support it. Hell, even at E3 their biggest news was that they were going to run some God awful adverts for it.

Great little system that just coulda done more...

Sony needs to stop making these psp 2000 and 3000 iterations. We don't need the system any smaller. We need a blood second analog stick.

I love my psp. Still rockin the psp 1000. I actually just bought some games for it the other day, Parappa the rappa, power stone, gunpey, echochrome ( import not download) and metal gear.

It's a great handheld. It just seems to be overshadowed by the almighty DS.

PSP could've done better if Sony would support the system properly. They had so many promise and fail to deliver. Even now I find the homebrewer did a much better job than Sony paid employee.

I won't say it's underrated, because it's not. I won't say that it's a great system however, because it's definitely lacking good games, with only a few exceptions.
