All Gen Gamers is the greatest project you guys have done, and it's even gotten me out of my way to express my gratitude for getting together and giving us something to listen to while we're (well, especially myself) off doing chores. However, I have one constructive criticism that you might want to acknowledge, you guys might want to practice when having discussions together. I don't know whether it's just foreign to me how Happy Console Gamer sort of intrudes on the conversation (well, I don't want to sound rude), but seems kind of awkward when one of you guys get cut off, or talk over someone else. I don't know if someone else hasn't already mentioned this, but it might make or break this. |

I am sure we will get over this as time goes on. Its hard to predict when someone may say something when you can;t see them talking to you you kinda just have to guess when they will stop talking. HCG was not interrupting for the wrong reasons, rather he was just so excited to record and share his stories and such that his excitement got the better of him most of the time. We will improve this for sure in future episodes. Don;t forget too that sometimes our skype connection falters a bit and actually does create some delay and lag in our conversations, so sometimes it may sound silent to one of us but as a matter of fact someone started talking 1 second ago without being aware. Nice podcast guys! And I checked on a site or two, and I saw that EarthBound was not sealed. But still not 100% sure. One was sold on eBay new for 1000$ as well. |

Please let us know if you find out anything, I can almost swear I read somewhere that Earthbound had no plastic/sticker seal on the outside box.... |

Just listened to the show earlier today and I thought it was great! I usually don't listen to podcasts but, there's no way I can pass up on one that includes petedorr, happyconsolegamer, gamester81, and lotsofgames. For it being their first podcast I thought it was done exceptionally well and look forward to future podcasts! |

Hey guys, great podcast! I've been looking for another video game related podcast and this one is definitely just the ticket. The conversational tone is a great way to go. I'll definitely be watching for more episodes. Keep up the great work! Oh, and I can't confirm this or anything, but I've also heard that Earthbound came unsealed, but I can't say first hand because I didn't see an original copy when it was released. |

Just got done listening to the first pod cast. I must say it is freakin long, but worth listening to. I have been following all of you guys channels on You Tube for nearly two years now. Anyways I have been gaming since mid 1990. I started out gaming on the original brick game boy. My first game to play was Zelda on the GB. Gaming Systems I own as follows: Original gray Game Boy w/ light Sega Genesis (model 1) Play Station 2 (slim) Play Station 3 (phat) |

I just now finished the episode (I know, I'm slow. Deal with it. xP) and I have got to say that was awesome. I'm not just saying that either. Things got rough at times, but considering it was your first podcast and with four people at that, that was done way better than most. I am REALLY excited for the next episode, what topics may emerge, and the answers to some of our questions! And like I said in the other topic, you have to get some people like StephsTooDef, tvandlust, as well as maybe SplatterTrigger or retrocalypse. I am leaving out a lot of people, but that means there is almost an innummerable amount of options as for who you could bring on the podcast. Keep up the good work guys, it's like a dream come true seeing PeteDorr's, HappyConsoleGamer's, and Gamester81's voices all in the same podcast. xD |

Wow, excellent podcast guys! For a first podcast, you guys have seriously got a leg up! I listen to Retronauts, Giant Bombcast, 198x, etc. and you guys are already up to par and actually more to my liking in some ways! @ Pete: I had to laugh when you were talking about it being nigh impossible to find a Virtual Boy at a yard sale because just 2 weeks ago a friend of mine snagged one at a yardsale for like $3. It was missing the stand and the visor shroud, but it works fine! Keep it up guys! ![]() -ud |

Hey guys, I've been subscribed to each of your Youtube Channel's for quite a long time now, and have watched each of your videos almost religiously every day when I get home from work. That being said, I am absolutely blown-away with the great news about the arrival of this podcast. I'm lucky enough to have a job where I can listen to music/podcasts all day while plugging away information into a computer - so needless to say I downloaded Episode 1 of your podcast a couple days ago, and am extremely impressed with its quality and entertainment value. Sadly enough, at the ripe age of 22, I've never signed up for any sort of Forum or made any comments on Youtube videos, despite reading and watching them for hours every day for the past couple years - but this Podcast has definitely swayed that choice. Proud to say that this is the first official forum I've joined, and am eager to hear all about what you and your fans have to say. Just want to put out special thanks to each of you: PeteDorr - First off, you've been a HUGE inspiration to my collection - and your channel over the past year has really helped me out with collecting. Thanks for introducing me to www.digitpress.com. Ever since you released that video, I have been archiving my ever growing collection of video games and memorabilia on the site. Gamester81 - A huge thanks to you Gamester for your crazy-awesome reviews of the countless gaming consoles. You've definitely convinced me to purchase several additions to my collection. Also - on a non-gaming note - thanks for the Beer Brewing tutorial. Definitely found myself a new hobby now. HappyConsoleGamer - What can I say. You've given me hours and hours and hours of top-rated entertainment, and you've definitely risen in the ranks to be among my top 5 favorite Youtube channels. Among other praises, I really want to say "Thanks" to both you and Rob Man for your amazing Mega Man Classic series review. Definitely sparked up some great nostalgia, and I'll no doubt be playing through the first few NES classics again in the near future. Jimmy (lotsofgames) - Hey Jimmy. Embarrasingly enough, I wasn't familiar with your channel prior to Episode 1 of All Gen Gamers. Had a quick look at some of your videos though, and now I'm hooked. A very impressive collection to say the least - and I'm excited to add you to my list of "after-work must-watch channels". Great input on the show, and definitely happy to have been introduced. Keep up the awesome work! Anyways, keep up the great work guys. This is definitely some of the best gaming-news I've heard in a long time, and I'm eager to listen to all of the up-coming episodes. Cheers, Deaner |

That was really good Pete. You all did such a great job and it was so informative and entertaining I just couldn't stop listening. One question though: What does it take to get featured on the podcast? Do you have to be a seasoned YouTuber or will you ever have a newer one who has a bright looking future? (i.e. They may not have any more than 25 subscribers but they have a great looking channel and their videos are very well made, professional, and entertaining.) |

@ Sephiroth - Thanks a lot for your message! I love messages like that they always make my day better, thanks for your support as well as everyone else who has replied to this topic. @ CVGC - I don't think anyone knows the requirements to get featured. Keep in mind we are featured in "new and noteworthy" which is likely just from Downloads (my guess) and to be in the real "featured" section (total of 120 podcasts) you need a combo of DL's, reviews, and ratings (my guess). |

For someone who has indulged more into the "Hardcore journlawlism" sector of the podcasting/gaming blogs, it's kind of refreshing listening to a show whose cast is full of collectors or enthusiasts per se, rather than deep-seeded industry vets. Your show is a nice look into another side of this subculture. So, I really dig what you guys are doing here. I'm also a big collector of game merchandise myself, alongside just owning a crap-load of games (Which is why I was attracted to Pete's channel when I first discovered it.) Keep up the good work. I look forward to listening to future episodes. Edited by TokyoChicken, Aug 8 2010, 01:19 PM.

Great pod cast, but a bit long. Would recommend to do introductions and URL/forum references beginning, middle, end. I have been watching all your videos on YouTube and glad to see you together. My question for future discussion is; What is your view of the iPad and iPhone as gaming devices? In addition their pressure on game prices to come down. |
