for those who know is it true that blu ray dolby digital/ex/plus and dts/es/hd i'm talking regular not "dts master hd" or "dolby true hd" have a higher bit rate than the dvd versions of those audio tracks and that even the old laser discs with such tracks also had higher bit rates.

k found out on my own that yes blu ray and even laser disc do have higher bit rate sound tracks on regular dolby digital and dts when compared to dvd wich features compressed versions.
