Halo vs. Call of Duty; Which FPS dominates? ONLINE PLAY ONLY

These two games are very different and both good in their own right. I think Halo unarguably has a more in-depth solo campaign mode, but the topic of this thread is online play only.

In my opinion Call of Duty rules. They made that game primarily for it's online awesomeness. Killstreaks, Killcams, Perks, custom classes and presteging are all unique to the CoD franchise and after playing the newly released Halo Reach I was extremely frustrated at the way the online mode plays.

Having to wait 5 seconds to spawn sucks, you can atleast show me how I got killed, that would help! And my last argument, I'm by no means a good FPS player, but in Halo Reach I am getting an average amount of kills per game when compared to people I play with. In CoD, when I first started playing, my kill-death ratio was so low it's embarrassing for me to tell.

This only goes to show that less skill is needed in Halo in order to do well. That statement is probably going to offend alot of Halo fanboys, but that's just how I feel.

Hmmmm I even searched this forum before I made this thread... Couldn't find anything... I figured since Halo Reach just came out last week it would be recent.... Well, if you stumble on it could you post the link? Thanks :-)

The graphics in COD are much better. Reach is fun, but I'm starting to like COD more than the Halo series'.
Xbox fan.

I pick bf.. imo bf>halo>cod. Im not really into halo but Bf kinda owns Cod and thats why COD's value in my eyes goes down by far. I don't want to argue with fanboys kthxbb

They're all interchangable FPS games, in my opinion. Same shooting action, different settings. Not that this is a bad thing, but the gaming market is saturated with shooters and they all start to feel the same. One benefit that Halo has over COD is a better single player campaign in terms of depth and length.

Between Halo and COD, I am going to say Halo. In my opinion Halo games are better rounded ( having both an excellent campaign and online). COD has had its great games too. But you mainly play those games for the online.

Killzone 2 is my favorite FPS but as for Halo vs COD

I think Halo is the better made game with all the game breaking perks etc...with COD but I find COD more enjoyable. COD is fast paced and every game is different whereas every time I play Halo is feels exactly the same as the last time, I also hate sinking so many bullets into people only to not get the kill, frustrating
