Hey guys,

I just wanted to start off by saying great job with the Podcast. I've been watching you guys on YouTube for quite sometime, but late to the game with these podcasts. I never honestly listened to any Podcasts before, and I have to admit, listening to these is much better than listening to anything on the radio, to and from work for me.

I really like how you all left iin everything, without editing some parts, because there were some truly funny moments. Listening to all of you together really shows how much different in opinion you have when it comes to games too though, but that's just how it is and you all are really good sports about it. I saw how one person's most anticipated game, was another one's least, and I'm glad you all aren't ashamed to voice your opinion. What's really great about this show is that I feel like I'm listening to a group of my friends talking about their favorite games, and sometimes I feel like I should join in to voice my opinion, but of course, can't lol. But that's why you all have these forums.

For the most part of the episode, I felt like I almost knew what your opinions would be for certain games....like of course Gamester81 with the new Star Wars game. As a Star Wars fan myself, I knew he'd be a big supporter. I was actually surprised though when it came to speaking about Fable 3. I thought more people would be excited for this, especially Pete Dorr with his liking for RPG's. I do see what HappyConsoleGamer was talking about though, about the maker of the game, talking it up so much. I can really see how that would effect a lot of people's opinions.

I really enjoyed Fallout 3, and Oblivion....put hours and hours into those games, and when I picked up Fable 2 afterwards....I hadn't looked up anything about the game whatsoever....I just figured I'd give it a chance, even though I felt that it didn't appeal to me. But once I began playing, I was just really taken in by the music, art, and just the overall feel of the game. I think the music score is very well done, and reminded me of some music that might be in Edward Scissorhands, or some other Tim Burton film. When I finally looked it up online, I was surprised to find out that Danny Elfman actually composed the Fable themes. The gameplay music was done by another composer though, but very well done and sounds much like the same style. Anyways, what I'm getting at.....I just had to look online after putting many hours into Fable 2, because I wanted to know how I had overlooked this game for 2 years, not to mention, the first game for even longer. That's when I started reading about what HappyConsoleGamer was talking about. Evidently, the hype was what got most people disappointed with the game, along with a few glitches here and there.

I picked up the Platinum Hits edition, and I had no problems at all. I really recommend you all give it another try, even though you all play tons of games....a lot more than myself. I can understand how hype plays a big role with opinions....if you are not expecting much from something good...you will be pleasantly surprised. If it's the other way around, it can get ugly.

Keep up the great work guys! There wasn't as many comments for your Podcasts as I would have thought, that's why I decided to create an account myself to show support. Good luck!

So I just wanted to throw my two cents in here about Sonic Adventure. Now, I never owned a Dreamcast until it was already dead so a lot of those games I originally played on systems like the Gamecube. When I was younger my brothers and I adored Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Ya, the game had some minor flaws and not every level was a blast, but damned it is a good game. I cant even count how many times we've played City Escape. After playing that game for over 100 hours I came across Sonic DX in a bargain bin. For those who don't know, this is a port of Sonic Adventure with a some changes here and there. Now, even after playing Sonic Adventure 2 (a much better all around game) and after playing tons of newer and way better visually impressive games, I still found that game to be fantastic. Ya the cutscenes are pretty awful, and there are certain levels that were much less fun than others, but I will say that I have extremely fond memories of that game. It is fantastic. I played that game when it was past its prime for sure (about 5 or 6 years old) and yes, it does show its age, but that doesn't mean its not a blast. I love it.

That being said, I can understand why people rate games like this lower. They are comparing it to brand new games like Halo Reach and Mario Galaxy. I feel that it would make more sense if reviewers had more than one score for re-releases. One for how it is purely on the amount of enjoyment, and one for how it stands up in today's game market. That way it won't deter those who look at the score. Ya its a bit more complicated but to me it makes sense.

Either way, another great episode guys.

EDIT: I do also want to point out that I have since played the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure so my opinion isn't solely based on the port.
